My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a two room suite that had everything we needed. A lot of old world charm. Spent time in the great room adjacent to the lobby. It had comfortable seating, games, books and a nice fireplace. It would be a great place for a family reunion.

My daughter and I stayed one night at the hotel. The environment was very nice and very relaxing. The hotel is located near shopping in Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Sister Bay. Staff were helpful in giving excellent recommendations to local and in the area orchards with amazing shops.

Toilet in our room seemed like it wasn’t bolted all the way to the floor.
The entry way into the facility was a bit dirty but we enjoyed our stay.

This property was built as an elegant hotel in 1931. The new owners have worked diligently to maintain that elegance and beauty while still keeping the ambiance very comfy and homey. My two friends and I felt like we were guests in someone’s home. The food is excellent.

My wife and I stayed for our 30th anniversary. I would highly recommend it, this hotel is definitely not the average hotel. The property, rooms, lobby, patio and lounge are historic and beautiful. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly and keep the rooms and facility, clean and spotless.

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and we loved Maxwelton Braes. The on-site tennis and pickle ball courts made us wish we were staying longer. We also loved the patio outside. They even offered us complimentary use of the cruiser bicycles so we could cycle into Bailey Harbor just a mile away. We had an excellent time and would happily go back.

Excellent customer service, appreciated the vintage touches to honor the history of the location. Not a lot of food options and bar closed early (8 PM?) so we dined elsewhere throughout our stay.
