What a BEAUTIFUL VIEW at the water’s edge! We LOVED sitting on the balcony and enjoying the ocean being so close! The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We would have loved to be able to eat breakfast or have a breakfast bar option on site. The restaurant was fantastic for lunch and dinner, too and also right at the water’s edge! A coffee maker in the room would have been great! We were happy there was a fridge and waters upon arrival. We will be back!

The location is perfect. You need to bring your own chairs for the beach. The pool was nice. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean but the rug was visibly old. The bar had great drinks but the service was very slow. The hotel could have been cleaner but I would stay there again for the location.

Third time in three years we’ve stayed here! Love the views, the beach, the pool, the bar. It’s also great to have the restaurant right in site. The lobster roll is AMAZING. Warm and buttered. So good I got it three days in a row! Drinks and food menu are solid. Only complaint this time was that they ran out of pool/beach towels and we had to use a tiny bath towel while they waited for a towel delivery. I do love that they have little amenities that you can add to you stay (wine and cheese for example). And I love that you can stay and enjoy the facilities after checkout! This place is good for families and couples and groups. And it’s walkable to restaurants and bars. It’s become an annual tradition for us now. Definitely recommend it.

The location is superb - right on the beach and so great - especially with kids. However, there’s no place to rinse off when you come back from the beach so the hotel is covered in sand and water. The pool has a rinse station but you still need to go through the hotel to get to it. So it just felt like there was sand everywhere. Our room was covered in sand. The shower leaked. There was rust or maybe mold around different areas. The paint on the walls and doors was peeling off. The bar is fun and the trivia and bingo were great. This isn’t a bad place, but for nearly $500 a night, I would definitely expect more.

The property is beautiful. Right on the beach. Me and my daughter wanted a nice relaxing girls getaway and that’s what we got. A walkout to the beach. The pool is heated so if the ocean is too cold to swim can enjoy the pool. Enjoyed the restaurant with the view of the ocean. No complaints. Had a perfect time.

100% will come back again! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I felt like family. I did have a couple of things that contributed to four stars instead of five. One was that we had to drag our heavy suitcases up stairs. Next time I will just bring a duffel bag and backpack. The second was that the room could have been cleaner. We did unfortunately find some toenail clippings on the carpet when we arrived. We noticed that some of the other rooms did not have carpet and felt like that was the right move to make as the carpet was very old and holding onto the smells of ocean water. However, I felt like the rest of the hotel was clean and our bathroom was clean and the best shower of our 10 day trip where we stayed at five different hotels. So that was very exciting. Also prepare for a very laid-back stay. If you want new towels or toilet paper, you’re better to go down to the front desk and ask for it. It really does feel like a family environment. And it is right on the ocean, which we loved! The bartender was very kind and quick. We were on a girls trip and enjoyed getting our drinks from the bar and sitting out on the patio and the beach. It was a great time and like I said, I would simply pack better the next time!

Great place to stay on the beach in Misquamicut! We loved our time here and we will be back! Pleasant View offers everything we need for our 3 day beach vaca! Oceanview rooms are big and the view is beautiful! Would love to see them add a microwave to the room! ( and remove the carpet)… Pleasant View lets you park and use the pool or go to the beach before your check in time! Gives you extra vaca time! Staff is very helpful. We always needed extra towels and they were happy to provide them. There is a small microwave and fruit water near the lobby. Tea/coffee too, at times. There are some fun activities on most days, like music and trivia. Pool could use some updating and care. Restaurant is short staffed but they work very hard to get the job done! Can’t wait to go back next summer!

I think for the money it could have been more impressive. The view is gorgeous from the patio and the private beach is perfect. The restaurant is not open every day so that was disappointing and the public restrooms in the foyer definitely needed some attention. My room itself was poolside and very clean. The pool also looked very clean and well maintained. On the patio itself there was some fruit from a cocktail I imagine and a fork discarded from dinner the night before. The hotel is also further down Atlantic which I liked...away from louder crowds. It really was a peaceful stay, just minor details..I would recommend overall.

We stayed in a “partial ocean view” room on the first floor. It had a small balcony that overlooked the patio by the restaurant and beyond that, the water. It was indeed a pleasant view. The hotel, like most in the immediate vicinity, is a little worn around the edges (especially for the rate we paid) but you can’t beat the location, everything was comfortable, and all we needed was available. The pool was warm and a popular spot. Heads up that the WiFi is spotty and cell reception terrible. But who cares? The hotel gave us two drink tickets for rum punch at the bar, which has a lovely view, and a pass to the town beach(es) upon request. The beach right in front is private for hotel guests but if you want to wander farther the pass is a good idea. The beach and water itself was clean and picturesque, full of families and boogie boarding kids, etc. There are a number of restaurants on the water as well, and some cute spots to grab a breakfast sandwich in the morning. A place to rent kayaks and paddle boards on the pond is within walking distance. Some folks come to party (not crazy or loud), the evidence of which is visible in the morning (bits of beachwear and cups around the lounge chairs) which was kind of funny. On the whole the vibes were good.
