The location is perfect. You need to bring your own chairs for the beach. The pool was nice. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean but the rug was visibly old. The bar had great drinks but the service was very slow. The hotel could have been cleaner but I would stay there again for the location.

Great place to stay on the beach in Misquamicut! We loved our time here and we will be back! Pleasant View offers everything we need for our 3 day beach vaca! Oceanview rooms are big and the view is beautiful! Would love to see them add a microwave to the room! ( and remove the carpet)… Pleasant View lets you park and use the pool or go to the beach before your check in time! Gives you extra vaca time! Staff is very helpful. We always needed extra towels and they were happy to provide them. There is a small microwave and fruit water near the lobby. Tea/coffee too, at times. There are some fun activities on most days, like music and trivia. Pool could use some updating and care. Restaurant is short staffed but they work very hard to get the job done! Can’t wait to go back next summer!

I think for the money it could have been more impressive. The view is gorgeous from the patio and the private beach is perfect. The restaurant is not open every day so that was disappointing and the public restrooms in the foyer definitely needed some attention. My room itself was poolside and very clean. The pool also looked very clean and well maintained. On the patio itself there was some fruit from a cocktail I imagine and a fork discarded from dinner the night before. The hotel is also further down Atlantic which I liked...away from louder crowds. It really was a peaceful stay, just minor details..I would recommend overall.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pleasant View. The hotel offers two complimentary parking lots with plenty of spaces, which made parking very convenient. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel regarding a restaurant reservation, and the front desk staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. My favorite was Marquis (I’m not sure of the spelling), who assisted me throughout my stay and provided outstanding service. The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the area. I booked an Ocean View Balcony room. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was newly renovated, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. I especially loved sitting on the balcony, listening to the ocean breeze and enjoying the peaceful view. The hotel is located right on the beach, so you’re just steps away from the ocean. The outdoor seating area and restaurant offer breathtaking 180-degree ocean views. One of the main reasons I chose Pleasant View was its swimming pool, in addition to its excellent location and beautiful rooms. Although the pool is on the street side of the property, it is large, well-maintained, and surrounded by comfortable seating. We had a wonderful time relaxing there. I had dinner at the hotel one evening, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Another night, we dined at Andrea Restaurant, which has beautiful ocean views and excellent lobster. Overall it was a great Stay!

Our room had an ant infestation and we found crumbs under our bed. We asked the front desk to please send up someone to vacuum the room and spray for the ants while we went out for the night. It was not done. We had to clean up under the bed when we got back late and keep killing the ants. Ew! We showed them videos of all the ants, but still nothing was done. No elevator and I have a very hard time with stairs. They offered for us to move from the 1st floor (which is one flight up already), to the second or third floor. I would have gladly taken them up on their offer, but my knees would not allow it. Also, guests would leave garbage around. A drinking cup here, Andes candies wrappers there, which I am sure happens, but not enough staff to keep up with the keep up.
