When I arrived, I was hardly greeted at all, and was told that the standard room that I had booked wasnât available so they would upgrade me to the âsuperior roomâ. They also said that I would have to move rooms in the morning, as that wasnât what I booked. I told them that I would not be packing all my stuff up again in the morning to move because of their mistake. In the end, they let me stay in the room.
When I got to the âsuperiorâ room it was far from superior. The walls were filthy, the sheets were stained, which I had them come change immediately. The air conditioner was extremely loud and the shower got the entire floor of the bathroom, the sink and the toilet wet when you used it. The front desk staff were also useless with booking information for tours/etc.
About the only thing this place has going for them is their nice gardens and grounds, and the location. It is right on the beach, which most of the day is good, but in the afternoon there are too many rocks to swim. It is also very close to restaurants and 7-11.
