old world living in beautiful Kerela

If you want a hotel that really puts you in green Kerela, Cherai beach is the one. Surrounded by lovely scenery this hotel does things the old way that was very pleasing. Somethinh uncommercial is what Kerela stands for and this hotel was just great. Its not top notch but it ticked all the boxes we sought. wonderful staff, great location to Cherai beach itself. lovely village town nearby.

hotel entre plage et back water

j'avais retenu l'hotel en demi pension pour 4 jours (chambre de luxe) Je suis parti des le lendemain étant donné la mauvaise surprise en arrivant chambre au confort sommaire, éclairage par tube neon sinistre, pas d'eau chaude au lavabo. la chambre située prés d'un transformateur électrique bruyant .Impossible de profiter de la piscine étant située au milieu des tas de gravats du à la rénovation des chambres à proximité l'eau était glauque. Quant aux repas servis de 19 à 22 heures à 20h le buffet est à moitié vide et pas renouvelé il faut pleurer pour obtenir une banane.....pour deux. le seul atout c'est le parc avec une végétation luxuriante. Ne vous fiez pas aux photos du site de l'hotel elles ont été prises sans doute lors de l'inauguration en 2001. La plage de l'autre coté de la route est sauvage à vous de l'aménager avec des lits en bois jetés en vrac sur le enrochements Il ya d'autres hotels à proximité plus confortable il suffit de faire 600 à 800m plus au nord..

Nice concept next to water. Poor execution

We had a meeting of the alumni engineers. We thought these facilities will be somewhat luxurious consistent with the price .I was disappointed as were most of my friends. The concept of water is good, but since the water is still and probably has never been cleaned out the foul smell is everywhere in teh compound, including the dining area. The people who were serving were good, but poorly trained. The owners are probably to blame, since they are not investing in cleaning up and making it a healthy place to stay. The view is nice. You have to wear a mask to get through the bad odor and stench. Sorry.

Afslappet autentisk sted med lækker massage

Hotellet var tilbagetrukket, afslappet og i autentiske omgivelser. De små hytter var rigtig fine og rene. Spa/massage faciliteterne var fantastiske! Der er desværre kun wifi i lobbyen, men det kan have sine fordele og ulemper. Personalet i receptionen var ikke særlig behjælpelige.

Would never recommend Cherai Beach resort

It was horrible experience because hotels.com did not confirm our booking with the hotel and we had to be accommodated into general accommodation. Everything in the hotel room was dirty, cobwebs, the toilet spray handle was broken, there is no a la carte menu option, the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner lacks variety and its sucks...hopeless experience!

peaceful

I book at deluxe room but when I arrived there was an overbooking and I was given a dark room without the promised view, a cancellation occurred and I was transferred to a beautiful bungaloo with a garden, which over looked the back water. I had a lovely 3 nights there, it was just the break from work I needed very tranquil.
