Beautiful old Inn

Fantastic one night stay, staff very friendly and chatty, our room was lovely, bright and clean. We loved the traditional atmosphere is in the pub area with all the original stone etc. The food in the restaurant was delicious and nothing was too much trouble when i asked if i could tweak the dish i wanted slightly. Highly recommend and would return 100%.

We stayed for 2 nights as we were in wales for a wedding. Everything was perfect. All staff were friendly, welcoming and accomodating. We had a family room and was really spacious for the 4 of us. They had thought of everything you could need while staying at a hotel. The breakfast was lovely too and there was a really good range to choose from even for the kids.

Good Beds, Food,.Drinks + Atmosphere.☮️

We have just had a fan stay at The Trewern. A totally unexpected booking after a cancellation of a Pet Friendly Cottage in the area....that worked to our advantage as we found a "gem" in this hotel. Our 2 little dogs were made so welcome. We could have them with us for meals in the bar and little treats and water bowls were available for them. I always contact in advance to ensure I get a pet friendly room and Angie was very helpful with this. There is ample room in the beer garden and field opposite pubs for short walks and many longer ones around the village or beyond . The staff here are so kind and helpful, Billy is a credit to the place. The food is excellent,fresh and locally sourced, the Chef happy to talk about the menu. It is very reasonably priced too. Really good choices on menu and specials board and plenty of choice at breakfast. The Ales and Ciders excellent. This is a place you can relax in, it's part of the community. We ate there every night of our 3 night stay and local customers made us feel as welcome as the staff. There are also music events which happen at The Trevern and Beer Festivals. It's Campervan friendly too. A warm accessible culture has been nurtured here.....need I say, we'll be returning.

Lovely stay. Communication before we arrived was clear. Self check-in was simple and very convenient. Our triple room was spacious, airy and clean. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. We really enjoyed the freshly made Welsh breakfast. Our dog was made to to feel very welcome too. Would stay here again.

Although the restaurant and bar are now closed, the accommodation is excellent, great full Welsh breakfast if required and there is a help yourself bar with a good selection of drinks and comfortable seating, pay on checkout.

Excellent staff service

We recently stayed in a family room at the Trewern Arms. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. This was a theme throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom (shower only) was great for us. Both breakfast and dinner were good and the hotel is located close to both Cardigan and the local beaches. Would stay again without hesitation.
