As expected. I wish the pool and nearby restaurants were open, but it was comfortable enough.

The desk clerk when we checked in was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area, especially about where to find food which there are not a lot of options off season. He was very friendly.

This is a fabulous placed to stay! We were warmly welcomed, the bed was so comfortable, and the shower was so refreshing - my 3 most important things when we stay. The room was large and very comfortable. The setting is beautiful. I highly recommend staying here.

We have visited here several times with our sxs and boat and it is very convenient to park both. The staff is friendly.
Lacey, 1-night trip

Convenience to Lake Powell No dollar machine for quarters when you have ice makers and laundry that require them, and the front desk is unavailable.

Super nice and accommodating staff. Nicely decorated. Clean and spacious room. A little out of the way for our travel plans.

6/10 Good

Not a waypoint, but a Basecamp for Lake Powell

This is definitely a great place to stay if you are exploring the southern end of Capitol Reef or hanging out at Glen Canyon NRA for a few days. We were road tripping from Torrey to Santa Fe so it frankly was not a good fit for us, we opted to keep driving.
Charlotte, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This lodge was a great place to stage for a houseboat stay on Lake Powell. We had a 9:00 am pick up time to get our Houseboat and it was nice to be refreshed after a drive from Denver
Kenneth, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Needs a bit of updating but the area is remote and has had owner changes. Bed was comfortable rooms were roomy. Place is about 12 miles from Bullfrog Marina. No breakfast, but coffee always available and a toaster is there for use
Tamera, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The place is convenient to Powell but for $340 a night, the house was in bad shape. The cockroach’s were all over.
Jeff, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Easy and convenient location to Bullfrog marina. Rooms are as expected for such a remote place. Comfortable and clean rooms, mini fridge, and quiet. Late check in had my bill and key hanging in an envelope at the front desk with others hanger in the same manner. I would recommend if the Defiance hotel at Billfrog is not available, which was our case.
Wesley, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice Stay, would return!

We were pleasantly surprised by the Lodge. Great check in experience, large clean room, comfy couch - it was nice to relax in after a days drive. The shower had great water pressure! Bed was a little on the soft side, but a nice quiet night. Only complaint was paying 25 cents for ice, not that that breaks the bank, but fortunately had change on me, usually don't!
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Knowing we were going to a very desolate area we didn’t expect much! The reviews are fairly accurate not an updated space however we didn’t feel dirty either just well used, but the bedding and carpet were in good condition. It served our purpose a place to sleep and shower while enjoying Powell all day. Coffee is available in the lobby every morning we were there (end August).
Erin, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Pretty good

The rooms are fine but no one is at the front desk. They have an onsite restaurant which would be handy in this rather remote area but it seems to rarely be open
Bruce, 2-night trip
