We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was extremely convenient for us because we used a luggage storage service in the building right next door. We didn’t realize how close it was until we arrived, and it made our trip so much easier. Another big advantage was the complimentary airport shuttle. It picks you up from Terminal 1 and takes you directly to the hotel, and it also provides transportation back to the airport, which was very convenient. The hotel was comfortable, and everything worked well for our short stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We are a family of four an stayed in one room to rest after a long flight before heading to Seoul. Hotel Hu was a short distance a free shuttle from the airport, kind service, and basic room amenities. It was near food and walking trails. It was a very nice stay.

While the hotel is strategically located next to the airport, it is nothing like the represented pictures on the website. No staff was available until after 2pm for check in, check out or questions. There aren’t a lot of options located around the hotel either. The rooms were clean but there wasn’t a built in AC for the rooms, instead it was a window wall unit with a standing box fan that never really got the room comfortable and cool. While there is a washer, you can’t use it. They do offer a bus shuttle for the airport and early and late check out for a fee (which was good), after you track down the staff.

20 minutes shuttle bus drive to the hotel. Although it took us some time to figure out which bus and where to take. Room was spacious and clean. Although hotel is older, it had pretty much everything we needed except universal power plugs/ adapters. Air conditioner was quite loud. Newly renovated bathroom was appreciated. (shower only, no tub). Beds were comfortable enough, Asian style, firm. It was perfect for a 20 hour layover transiting to another country.

Pluses. Wanted to get a taste of "real" Korea on a long flight layover. The hotel fulfilled this expectation, but that involved both good and poor points. The bad. Hotel stars are allocated mostly on the basis of the foyer. This really should have negative stars on this basis. No one was at the front desk on arrival, and the automated check-in system was cryptic (presumably much easier if you read Korean). You had to enter only your last name to be recognized, but this was not clear from instructions. Went to the attached restaurant while waiting for someone to show up. Got some very good soup for about 10,000 won, but the place was closing and was I told to hurry up and eat in 15 minutes (!). The information in the hotel website is not accurate. The restaurant is not 24 hours. The gate given for the free airport shuttle was incorrect. The good. Room was clean and quiet and pretty well appointed with kitchenette, hot shower, comfortable beds. And the soup.

The staff wasn't there and I had some problems of using the kiosk to check in. However, the stuff did come down when I called the number. The amenities are barebone and outdated. It's okay for transit. However I cannot charge my phone because the outlet was different and I hadn't had that problem in previous stays in Korea. This hotel was honestly very disappointing. It feels more like a creepy nursing home or hospital, with long, dark corridors that make the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. The room itself is decent but very worn down, and the windows are covered with plastic, so you can’t even see outside — which makes the stay feel even more closed off. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially considering that for the same price you can stay at the luxury hotel right across the street. That said, the location is convenient: it’s close to the airport, there is a free shuttle service, shopping options in the building, and easy access to the aforementioned luxury hotel with great restaurants, entertainment for kids, and better overall facilities.

You check in and out of a kiosk which doesnt work most of the time, so I was unable to check out properly as the kiosk said to talk to staff but the desk was closed.
