The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience pleasant. However, the lodge itself could use some renovation — the interior furnishings are quite tired and worn, and the overall appearance feels dated. On the positive side, the location is excellent — very central and in a safe area, making it easy to explore the surroundings. With a bit of refurbishment, this property could truly stand out.

My only slightly negative observation was that the decor was a little old and tatty... curtains frayed and torn. Otherwise I felt safe, and enjoyed good service. The staff were amazing... really friendly and helpful.

Sehr schöner Garten. Freundliches Personal. Der Pool war jedoch die ganze Zeit unseres Besuches nicht nutzbar und der Tennisplatz sieht aus als hätte er seine besten Zeiten sehr lange hinter sich. Die Zimmer sind okay, könnten hier und da aber auch ein bisschen Zuwendung gebrauchen, also mal einen Lichtschalter reparieren und eine Glühlampe austauschen

Very nice upmarket accomodation, clean and fantastic setting in a stunning garden with pool and tennis courts. The room wifi was not working correctly and an aircon in the room would have been nice, but overall a good stay.

Hyggelig og flott overnatingstilbud i Jo`burg

Lourie Lodge er en skult skatt i Johannesburg. Om du har behov for en rolig hjemmekoselig overnattings alternativ i Santon området er dette stedet du bør velge. Rommene er ok store, Bor du på rom 1 eller 6 har du egen sittegruppe. Du har også et lite svømmebasseng til disposisjon og en tennisbane. Hyggelig personale . Vil bo her igjen ved mitt neste besøk

Lourie Lodge is an absolutely beautiful facility.

My room was amazing and spacious. The view was outstanding of the well kept grounds and pool. I felt completely safe. The grounds are surrounded by a high wall and electronic gate. From the moment I was greeted at the airport by a transfer service the friendliness of the staff was shown throughout my stay.

Pour un deuxième séjour au LOURIE LODGE, nous sommes toujours aussi satisfaits : belle chambre, grande salle de bains, jardin et piscine ou il est agréable de se détendre. Quartier sécurisé . Seul bémol , les chambres ne sont pas climatisées....pour un guest-house de cette catégorie , une climatisation réversible serait nécessaire pour la chaleur de l'été....et la froideur de l'hiver.... Néanmoins le LOURIE LODGE a toujours au tant de charme
