Sleepless in Ridgecrest

I reserved a One King room but upon Check-in I was given a Two Queen room. The lighting was dim - the lamp on the nightstand didn't work, and the overhead light in the bathroom only lit with the noisy fan. The AC was noisy and barely vooled the room. The TV also didn't work do at 11pm when the neighnore were loadly talking I couldn't drown out their noise. At 2am another neighbor let his two dogs out of the room and they barked loudly, the guy then yelled at them. I bet those were "service dogs", wheras I declared my dog and had to pay an extra fee plus a hefty deposit (neither were mentioned on the website or when reserving the room). I got very little sleep; too noisy!!

The heater when turned on smelled of burnt hair and an electric fire. The shower head was leaking into the drywall, I’m pretty sure there is probably mold growing up there. Overall everything looked dingy and worn.

It seems as though the owner of this hotel is as cheap as can be. Only two pillows per bed even though it was a family check in. No coffee in room Only the lobby however the lobby coffee machine is broken. The lady at the counter told me she had no ink for her printer and couldn't get any because the owner is in India.

Nice but lacking.

Nice room, but with issues. The refrigerator made noise all night long, and the walls are so thin that we heard our neighbors every move. No coffee service in the room at all. No Kleenex in the room. Also no plug available for the bathtub?!? The young lady running the place is very nice, but couldn’t do anything about any of it.

Windhams facilities are not up to old standards

When we arrived theyvwere very nice and alliwed us to check in early because we were having vehicle trouble. But we asked for handicap accessible and they had none. Their add says they have laundry facilities. They have none. It costed me 8 dollars at the laundromat just to wash 1 load of laundry. Fortunately a gentlemen had extra time on his drier and i didnt have to pay for drying. They have only coffee at the site. They give you a coupon for Dennys down the road. Which is fine.

False advertisement about Denny's vouchers, never received one after asking owner. Neighbor was loud, and I mean LOUD.. called 3 times and nothing was done so in result we had to contact police. Owner tried to keep my deposit saying he smelt "marijuana" smoke (I do not smoke ANYTHING, let alone marijuana) I had brought a housekeeper in and asked her if she smelt anything, she said no and proceeded to look for ashes which were nonexistent and he still refused to give me my deposit. OVERALL HORRIBLE, will never return to this location.
