We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Hotel del Sole to all! The location is perfect - at the top of the main street in town. We were so close by but not in the middle of the action. The property is quiet, comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The owner was amazing and sat down with us to show us maps, helps us get discounted train & trail passes, plan our train times schedule and more. You can’t go wrong staying here - book now!

We stayed in Cinque Terre and wanted a place that wasn't totally quiet (Corniglia) or super busy (Montarosso), so settled on Riomaggiore and glad we booked this place. The walk up the hill is a bit inconvenient, but the friendly service was amazing. Enrico spent time with us when we checked in, going thru where to hike, helping us get the Cinque Terre card, plus there is daily complimentary breakfast 8a-10a which was awesome - I got my yogurt and oats, prosciutto and cheese sandwich (the bread is fantastic), and croissants and other pastries, not to mention the espressos and teas and juices, and fruits! Highly recommend for the breakfast and kindness. You probably won't get the same kind of help, kindness and attention in other areas or other hotels. It made our stay 10/10.

This is a great hotel with perfect access to the Cinque Terre. Riomaggiore is undoubtedly the most charming of the five villages in the Cinque Terre. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The hotel owners were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had all we needed for a day of exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to come back there with family and friends.

A wonderful stay! Will be staying here again if I ever return! The owner is so friendly and was very accommodating to my gluten allergy at breakfast. We had a great stay at Hotel Del Sole. We were able to safely park our car right at the hotel before setting out to explore the area. Enrico was super friendly and provided helpful tips about Riomaggiore and how to get around Cinque Terre. The breakfast was excellent. We will stay here again when we return to Cinque Terre.

Fantastic place! Location was perfect and walkable to everything including train, and ferry! Enrico was amazing and gave us a lot of useful information. Parking was easy and spacious. The rooms were clean and spacious as well, with lovely fluffy towels. Wifi was available although a little weak. The breakfast was delicious and light!

Arrived in Riomaggiore early, a breathtaking village, and was able to leave our luggage while the room was being prepared. Returned an hour later (still earlier than official check in), and room was ready. Enrique was extremely helpful, providing information about the Cinque Terre Parco hike. His wife makes an amazing cappuccino at breakfast time. Breakfast was light and delicious, and did the job to fuel us for our hikes. Each room has a terrace which is ideal for watching the sunset after a long day. The location is walkable to the restaurants, the start of the Cinque Terre hike, the sea, where there is a small rocky public beach and about 15 minutes to the train station. Of all the towns, Riomaggiore has the most personality, is less busy than Monterosso but an easy train ride to all the villages which are worth checking out. Would definitely stay here again.

Generally good service Enrico friendly but limited in range of skills. Room basic but clean . Nice view but 59 outside steps to get to room. Description of route to hotel a little understated-final “50” metres climb a severe challenge with luggage !!
