We were there b/c of the family rooms, which are quite affordable for Hamburg standards. The hotel is situated at a four lane road in Altona. Altona is a nice district, easy to find a good dinner place if you don't mind walking for 20 minutes or so, and we'll connected to the inner city. Drawback of the room was that the windows don't stop the road noise as well as they should. But we still had a good night.

Single night stay. Room is clean, bed is comfy and easy to get into the city centre with the bus stop 100m from hotel. Hotel a bit on the pricy side. No coffee, tea or water in the room.

Nice location but noisy and warm rooms

Pros: Nice staff, generous check in/check out times. Breakfast is worth the money. Nice location. Cons: Lot of traffic noise through the window. Very warm room (winter time) with no AC, had to open the window to get fresh air during night, resulting of course in even louder traffic noise. Did not sleep well.

Leider hatten wir einen Nachbarn der bis 4Uhr morgens Musik in einer Nicht-Zimmerlautstärke gehört hat und deshalb sehr wenig Schlaf bekommen haben. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat sich darum gekümmert, dass wir früher ins Zimmer konnten. Mussten knapp 10-15 Minuten warten und dann konnte ich mit meiner Tochter ins Zimmer. Bus hält direkt vor der Tür,S-Bahn Fussläufig zu erreichen in ca 5-6 Minuten. Zimmer klein,aber sauber und für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend. Tiefgarage vorhanden.

Übernachtung nur Rückseite empfehlenswert

Das Zimmer lag zur Straße hin, die sehr stark befahren war. Da das Fenster undicht war, habe ich trotz Ohrenstopfen sehr viel vom Lärm mitbekommen. Aufgrund des undichten Fensters war die Wirkung der Klimaanlage ebenfalls beeinträchtigt (deswegen auch die schlechtere Bewertung zum Thema Umwelt). Der Stopfen im Waschbecken ließ sich überhaupt nicht bewegen, wodurch das Wasser sehr schlecht ablief. Das Bett war gut und schön breit, – aber den Lärm der Straße konnte es kaum kompensieren. Die Tiefgarage ist auch lobenswert zu erwähnen.
