I had a great stay at Elaf Ajyad Hotel. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The reception staff were very welcoming and professional, especially Anas,Turki and Abdullah, who were outstanding and always happy to help with anything. The kitchen workers were also very kind and helpful, and the room cleaning service was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Makkah as it’s very close and a buggy from the hotel to take them up and down.

I like the staffs at this facility. They are very professional and helpful especially the male staff that helped me checked in the day I arrived, around 1am. He was the manager on duty that morning. Excellent services.

Walkable distance to haram ( you need to do down a steep stairs which is fine for young people, elderly can use a golf car ) There's noise from air conditioner chillers opposite to the hotel I think I will repeat my reservation as the price is relatively good compared to the distance you need to walk to the Haram

Location is good however it is located on up hill and makes it challenging to walk up. Golf carts runs but overloaded and unpredictable frequency. Break fast was good but timing were short & starts late. surrounding area was noisy as there is some AC system on rooftop of next door building making a lot of noise. For the price and location it is worth it. I would just not add breakfast add in when reserving again.

Clean room, amazing staff. We dealt with Mr. MASLEH who was super nice and helpful and he helped resolve an issue which was from the website and it was not hotels fault, yet Mr. MASLEH helped us out. We must say Arab hospitality is sexond to none i would recommend this hotel for cleanliness and courteous service. Also the distance to HARAM from here is about 4 minutes and we enter MATAF / KABAA right away instead of going in circles. On exiting Umra from MARWA, it is still very close to get back to the hotel. And there are always golf kart like vehicles to take you up to the hotel. When i stayed on Ibrahim Khalil side, which was same distance to HARAM, I had to walk worth 1.5 Umras to do 1 Umra so it felt like doing 2.5 Umra. Doing Umra from this hotel was a breeze specially with family. It was totally worth it to stay at this hotel for convenience of Umra and HARAM access on top of great customer service and cleanliness and I highly recommend it and will stay again.

Overall, good hotel. Very near to Masjid e Haram and that is biggest benefit. Rooms were not very small but not very big either. Booked for 6 but got only 4 beds. Staff was struggling to understand English and we do not speak Arabic well. Room was clean. Bathroom and toilet are together which meant water spilling though it could be style in Saudia anyways.

2/10 Poor

The property is in terrible condition. My family and I had to run around at 2:00 after a long journey to find other accommodations. Pictures are old and not reflective of the property. There is mold in the bathrooms and carpets are disgusting and the rooms have a bad smell.

2/10 Poor

It was the most terrible experience of our life. We paid more than $700 /night but the place was not even 1* The room was small, ants crawling and small washroom with no towels. We are both over 65 and hotel was on a mountain. We want a full REFUND.

Having stayed here previously, I had certain expectations based on earlier experiences. On this occasion, the reception service felt less efficient, and the rooms did not appear to have been updated. I share this feedback constructively and in the hope of seeing continued improvement.

Rooms are good and well maintained. However bathrooms could have been a lot better. The golf cart ride services could have been more frequent.
