Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The room was massive, the accessible food hall with breakfast lunch and dinner available was great. Located in a great complex with access to a small market for snacks. We will absolutely be back
We loved our stay in Gdansk at the Podewils. It is slightly out of the main historic district, and hence very quiet, although the main district is available with a 5 minute walk. The staff and ownership of the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and eager to help in all ways. The breakfast was excellent, with cooked eggs and bacon available in addition to a complete buffet. This is a classically styled hotel in an older building. If you are looking for classicism, character and romance,...
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly well-maintained, which immediately set a comfortable tone for the trip.
What really sets this place apart is the team. Every staff member I encountered was warm, genuinely friendly, and went out of their way to provide excellent service. From the smooth check-in process to helpful recommendations, everything was handled with great care and professionalism.
Overall, it was a fantastic...
The front desk staff was very helpful, answered any questions we had and all very friendly, the breakfast buffet was very good, many choices and staff was always filling anything that needed a refill, they were also very nice and helpful, the rooms were cleaned very well each day and the staff were also polite
Location, location, location ... right in the heart of Old town Gdansk, near every imaginable type of restaurant, within walking distance of every amazing cite. Oh, an a helpful, pleasant and charming staff. Breakfast was great!!
Beautiful room with large windows to let light in. Delicious breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and many options. Nice spa and restaurant on site. A little walk from the old town area, and no restaurants nearby.
It is at the Gdansk Airport, the walk from the lobby to the airline check-in counter is 3 minutes. Excellent location for the morning flight and they give you breakfast to go if you check out really early.
Room was large, comfortable and very clean.
The location/price is a great value. The staff were lovely. The room had a fan rather than a/c which was sufficient for the temperature during my stay.
Extremely convenient to the old town. Not a hotel per se but more like an apartment but the property office as 24 x7 and the staff was very professional and helpful. The only issue was that the room was not serviced for the 3 nights I was there. I don't quite know why and although not a huge problem need to be so advised. Also charged 70 zl for a cleaning fee after one departed. Overall would recommend the property and would stay there again.
Property gets high marks for great location to have as a base. Rooms were very good sized and comfortable.
The only slight negative was there were alot of late night revelers on the street in front of hotel.
..in almost every way. Although this hotel is slightly north of the main tourist area, this proved to be a good thing as the old city center was extremely crowded with a gigantic flea market when we were there. We were able to park on the street across from the hotel, and it was a 1-minute walk to the north end of the riverside promenade. It was also an easy 10-minute walk north to the Lenin Shipyard Museum (where Solidarity was founded) and the Shipyard Workers' Memorial. The room was very...
This hotel is perfect for a stay in Gdańsk! It's very clean, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. And I ate luck there one day and it was excellent! I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
