We had a great stay for three nights in July/August. All of the receptionists were helpful and kind, the room was good, the breakfast at the restaurant was really good (so much to choose from) and superb location. I have to add that the sound proofing was also good. The aircondition also worked well. We also got to store our luggage at the hotel the last day before we left for the airport. We highly recommend this hotel for your Gdansk stay 👍

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It's in a great location, just few minutes of walk from the Dlugi Targ and the river. The room was nice and well equipped. The only inconvenience can be that as it is placed in the very city centre and it's very loud until 11-12 pm. The breakfast proposed quite a variety and the food was there throughout the breakfast time (not as in some hotels where after 9am no food is added).

The staff was polite and helpful in arranging for a very early morning taxi to the airport. The best location dead center in the middle of Old Town’s exciting vibe with cafes, bars and venders. You can keep your windows open to see and hear the hustle and bustle or close them for a remarkably quiet experience.

Pro’s: Super central, at the end of the Main Street of the old town so easily walkable to everywhere. Staff very nice and their English is brilliant Gdansk itself is beautiful Was expecting more after reading all the reviews Con’s: Very noisy. Windows aren’t even double glazed. On one side you have the noisy Main Street of the old town and rooms on the other side have to contend with a pub/nightclub on the ground floor. Room cleanliness could be better, there were hairs on the shower screen and on the bathroom floor upon checking in. Rooms plain and dated Double bed was in fact two singles pushed together with a crater in the middle so you had to sleep on one side. Only provided a single duvet too. Came back one day after 3 pm and room had still not been attended to WiFi was very poor

We had a large room on the 3rd floor. Many other people have mentioned the ear plugs on the beds on arrival and worries about noise. When there was live music in the ground floor bar it was a bit noisy, but that did not go late on the weekend nights we were there (weekends include Thursday & Friday for Gdansk). It was very quiet Monday-Wednesday. Some street noise on Thursday and Friday nights, but the double glazing in the room helped with that a lot. The airconn unit was weak, took a long time to cool the room (about 12 hours) - and the in-room mini-fridge was essentially broken so it would not cool. However, overall the room was a very nice size, the bathroom was good and the breakfasts were incredible. All but one of the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is pretty stunning, right by the Golden Gate at the edge of the Long Street in old town. Many great eating options, short walks to the museums (Solidarity, WW2), or to explore the town. Also close to the airport bus and a major supermarket/shopping mall 5min walk away. I would stay again, which is my main test of a place - we mostly slept well, and the breakfast range was out-standing.

Staff were more than helpful with helping us learn about the local area and where to go for things. The aesthetic of this hotel is gorgeous from the street view and also the room. The room was very spacious and had a great view onto the old town high street and all necessities were cared for. If you are planning to visit Gdansk then i would definitely recommend Fama Residence
