Pleasantly Surprised

We were in the Malvern area for a family event. Because one of our gatherings was to be dinner at the Inne, we found it convenient to stay at the General Warren Inne. Not that I anticipated poor accommodations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy suite and the kind, courteous staff. Also, the dinner Saturday evening was very good. Again, staff who worked the private room was great. I want to specifically complement a young lady named Andrea.

The hotel is from the 1700s but updated to an extent. Bathroom was very very small. The floors are kept original with creaking and scratches. They are trying to keep the integrity of the original and give modern amenities to an extent. Understand what you are coming for. The restaurant, bar and outdoor event space is exquisite. But understand the historical nature has some bumps for the hotel sleeping quarters. Just know what you are getting before you come from afar.

Hotel that was built before the Revolutionary War is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are small but has everything you need including telephone, cable tv and central air. Parking is easy and the restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful and the complimentary continental breakfast in the morning is very good. Would definitely recommend!!

Not a great stay but a good dinner

We stayed for just a night, there was no rest as the noise from the restaurant came clearly through the walls and floor. The pictures are very deceiving, the tv is awkwardly pushed to the side of the couch insead of in front (you cant move it either) and a wall inbetween the rooms makes it hard to be seen from the bed. The bed was comfortable and clean, it was just a strange set up. the bathroom barely fit us, looks like it used to be a closet. Maybe a different room would have a better set up? we left at 8am and there was no one available for check out. Like a ghost town. The restaurant downstairs was amazing, the food was worth every penny. I would eat there again but would not stay in the rooms.
Sheets were clean but room was musty.
TV had to stay here as the cable cord was 1 foot long.
The bathroom was the size of a closet. walls on each side of the toilet.
