This was an awesome place to stay. I had never stayed in a traditional ryokan before, but the room, meals, and service here far surpassed my expectations. Fantastic! Beautiful traditional rooms,lovely clean onsen, kimono to wear, Incredible very traditional Japanese breakfast. If you are a foreigner and seek an authentic Japanese place to go , this the place. The staff was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. I cannot rave enough about this place!!! Good Japanese room

I chose this hotel because it offered a Japanese style room. The room was good, I liked it. Onsen was good, amenities like in any other hotel. The hotel itself is a bit worn out, feels built in the end of 1960-ies and has stayed that way since. I was during the very high sakura season, therefore the hotel was overpriced.
