Casa Antonieta was incredible! If you have the chance to stay here, you should without question. The staff here was so attentive and helpful with arrangements and recommendations. Their response time to emails was some times nearly instantaneous and everything they recommended was top notch. The room was spacious and relaxing, and had a shower with great water pressure. Fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and Mezcalerias all within a few blocks. I look forward to staying at Casa Antonieta again...
It was beautiful. Beyond our expectations. Great ambiance. Staff was on top of everything, super friendly and helpful. They truly made tis experience the best! While at the coffee bar, my 7 year old daughter wanted a milk chocolate drink that was not on the menu and the two young guys at the bar offered to make it. They truly make it special! Definitely recommend.
Overall, the staff was great and very friendly. On our last night, our flight was at night and they securely stored our luggage while we walked around for the day until it was time to head to the airport. There was an error in the type of vehicle to the airport because I had asked the night before to reserve a van that would fit a family of 6, but they were able to obtain 2 taxis fairly quickly for the same price we would’ve paid for the van. We had a wonderful stay and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, an eight-block area around the hotel had lost power majority of the day. The team handled the situation amazing hospitality despite not being able to control the power situation: they treated us to a tlayuda (like a Mexican pizza and quesadilla combined) and welcome drink, carried our bags upstairs, and the bar manager even arranged a mezcal tasting.

This hotel is in a pleasant and easily walkable neighborhood. The rooms are nice, it's quiet, it's kept clean, and the rooftop deck is awesome.
But the best part is Emilio. He rushed out to help us with parking before we even got to the door. He reassured us about our travel plans after the disturbing events of late February 2026. If you're going to Ciudad Oaxaca, this is where you should stay.
Unfortunately our room was over the garage and the metal doors upon opening and closing, made a lot of noise.
Also at 7 am water is delivered by truck and that was quite disturbing.
