Stayed often over the years the rooms are excellent as you would expect for the cost you pay, Breakfast very good sadly had a meal in the Pizzeria restaurant at The Beach House with family service was terrible didn't receive our meals together table not cleared between courses someone's pizza arrived well after all of us had finished our meal the pasta was poorly presented no one seem to be in charge. Meal in the main hotel at the Brasserie received our main course one hour after the starter difficult to understand who was in control of the restaurant. On a plus side pet friendly hotel all the reception staff very helpful.

It was ok but not luxurious. I would not expect a luxury hotel to provide very basic and cheap toilet paper in your bathroom. Or a full breakfast to include streaky bacon and no baked beans. The Beach House felt like a leisure centre. Enjoyable stay but not value for money.

Our trip to Saltmoore was quite interesting. This is a hotel with a many opportunities but some work still needed. We appreciated the decor and even though there was a problem with our room initially, Lucy was kind enough to help. Some elements around the restaurants were not so clear and service as they seemed to lack qualified personnel, maybe as we are out of season. The kids pool is very nice and amenities are also well organised. The spa is a plus, but it is very bright and not so relaxing from that point of view. Finally, we really enjoyed our stay but felt something may have been missing in the end from a total experience point of view.

A beautiful hotel with great amenities but found it is vastly overpriced. Evening meal was average, staff very attentive. Room was a good size but mould around the shower tray and dusty door. Breakfast had good choices although the cook breakfast was just warm. On check out commented to the reception staff there was a humming noise like a water pump or generator going most of the early hour's .. Just said someone else has mention that. A pleasant stay but won't return

Lovely hotel and staff were first class. I would rate a 5*, but for two things: -No air conditioning in the bedrooms in the main hotel. I believe this is planned at some stage. - we had the snug room on the top floor. Lovely room and big bathroom. But it had 4 velux windows and so no view. Not a major problem as we only stayed for a short 2 night break. However the real problem was at night, when heavy rain made us feel we were in a drum. So sleep deprived both nights. It is worth paying a bit more for a room on the first or second floors. Martin Hill

Lovely stay at the Saltmoore. Food was great, breakfast was excellent. However didn't think the Spa was up to much. Quite small compared to similar I've been in. The staff were what made this place. Very friendly. The rooms were very clean and had a good standard.
