The Amulet Hotel was by far the most beautiful hotel I stayed in during my entire trip through Central Asia. Housed in a historic building with a stunning inner courtyard surrounded by the guest rooms, it truly felt like stepping into a scene from One Thousand and One Nights – with the added bonus of modern air conditioning that kept the rooms wonderfully cool, even during the hottest days.
Every morning, a delicious breakfast was served in the courtyard, creating a peaceful and memorable atmosphere. The hotel also provided fresh bottled water in the room every day, which was a thoughtful touch.
What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional kindness and hospitality of the staff. When I needed to pack an item in my luggage, they went out of their way to find packing tape for me. On the day of my departure, part of the street was closed, making it difficult to reach a taxi. Rather than simply pointing me in the right direction, a staff member personally walked with me and my suitcase through the surrounding streets until we found transportation to the train station.
This level of care and genuine hospitality is rare and made my stay truly special. I cannot recommend the Amulet Hotel highly enough to anyone visiting Bukhara. If I ever return, I would happily stay here again.
