Cannot say enough about the staff - rarely if ever have we been treated with such care and professionalism. Truly excellent.

Very pleased with the staff and the daily cleaning of the room. Also, close to the airport and other shops and restaurants - easy to call a taxi to get around Tashkent.

It is a small boutique hotel which used to be a rich man’s house long time ago and then converted to a hotel. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. It has an outstanding staff willing to help their guests in all aspects, they really go the extra mile to provide all help you need. I had a problem with my mobile phone cell line and the guy at the reception made the translation for me which helped a lot as I don’t speak Uzbek nor Russian. Staying here was an excellent experience. As an American, the process was very easy and the staff spoke good English. Rooms were clean, breakfast was hot and plentiful beyond most western hotels I have stayed at, and the pool area is excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Alina, Norbol, and Azziz were especially helpful.

I like this hotel so much.

This was our first visit to Samarkand and we did a ton of research on where to stay. We decided on the Sangzor because of it’s location right next to the biggest sights in Samarkand. We are incredibly happy with that decision as we found the Sangzor to be the perfect hotel if you’re in town to see the sights.
