We stayed one night to experience the grandeur of the palace. The staff were courteous and the meals were to a high standard that you would expect of such a place. But we felt isolated and little disappointed as it was very quiet and lacked warmt. Hot water was only on at certain times making it more univiting and some parts looked rundown. The ball room was impressive and had nostalgia but we were glad to only stay one night. I'm sure the experience may be better during the high season when it is more busier.

There was no heat even though the temperature was below 50 degree Fahrenheit. The shower did not work and the food for breakfast had run out. Our rooms had absolutely no windows or sunlight. Badly needs renovation. Most importantly it’s being run with skimpy staff and so no one answered the telephones or took care of you. Sad because bones of property are great.

Externally In bad condition with plaster peeling.

Terrible service. Bad quality food. Despite claims of free wifif in reality wifi available only in restaurant and lobby and so free wifi of no practical use. No activitries or any other services from a tourist point of view.

Superbe hôtel historique...cher sans eau chaude

Les chambres sont magnifiques, l'hôtel est un ancien palais du Maharajah de Mysore. Mais aux prix où la nuit est facturée, il semble inimaginable de ne pas pouvoir se laver à l'eau chaude (au mieux, on pourrait qualifier l'eau obtenue de "non froide", même pas tiède...)

majesté des bâtiments et charme d'un palais du 19ème siècle. salle de restaurant immense pouvant paraitre lugubre le soir. Bar hors d'usage par défaut de licence. suite rénovée, somptueuse, très grande, avec de très beaux meubles d'époque, donnant une ambiance cosy. le parc est absolument magnifique avec une très belle vue.
