We had a lovely stay! The hotel was very nice, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were wonderful, very friendly, helpful and incredibly accommodating. They arranged a late checkout for us without any hassle, which we really appreciated. Everyone made us feel welcome and well looked after. We would happily stay again!

If you are not from Athens-do not rent a car, driving is crazy and there is zero parking. The hotel is lovely. Service is lovely. The restaurant is amazing, great view, excellent breakfast and dinners. The hotel is located very central to Plaka, the acropolis is within walking distance. Would absolutely stay there again.

Staff were very nice, hospitable. The breakfast was wonderful lots of good choices. The property location is close to mostly everything, walking distance places to see and bus stops. The only reason I gave it a four stars the rain shower in the bathroom was not working.

Spacious, comfortable rooms with good amenities. Very comfy bed. Nice outlook over National Gardens and Temple of Zeus from front rooms. Excellent restaurant and pool on rooftop with fantastic Acropolis views. Great breakfast spread with a huge variety and good coffee. We stayed here three times on our last trip to Greece and couldn't fault it. Would stay here again. Highly recommended,

The Athenaeum Luxury Hotel in Athens is wonderfully located in a busy area within a 5-6 minute walk to the Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Zeus and Arch of Hadrian and a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis and Hellenic Parliament building. We stayed in room 601 which had a great view of the Parthenon and plenty of space. The room had a very comfortable king sized bed, great air-conditioning, in-room safe, a small fridge and great coffee maker. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Harry and Elena. The hotel breakfast was incredible and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel in great location for Plaka a day Acropolis etc. We had an Acropolis view room 5th floor which was a treat. Lovely view from. 6th floor bar/restaurant/ breakfast area. One night (Saturday) there was a VERY loud band in a private function on 6th floor till midnight which hindered sleep. You may wish to check this. I complained to the manager who resolved the issue to my satisfaction. Overall highly recommended.
