This motel is an excellent place stay if you plan to be in Mio. It is located close to restaurants and a grocery store. It is an older building and does have some small maintenance needs..,like drapes with missing hooks. The king room was clean, and included all the necessary amenities. We used the tub, shower, mini-fridge, microwave, ROKU TV, and heat during our 3 day stay. The king bed was spacious and comfortable, with good quality bedding. The room also included a large comfortable recliner chair, dresser space, and a counter with a bar sink. The pool/spa area was very nice, with a changing and bathroom available. Pool towels were provided. The motel ad mentioned that it included breakfast. Although the offerings were limited, they included coffee, OJ, packaged oatmeal, bagels (butter, cream cheese, PB, jelly), individual yogurts, and wrapped sweets. Brewed coffee was available throughout the day. Overall, it was a good choice for our stay in Mio, and we will stay there in the future.

Spent 5 days in town for a funeral. The room was pretty clean, but a couple things like the stained toilet bowl showed that it hadn't been deep cleaned recently. There were a dozen unpainted splotches of joint compound on the walls. The corner lamp had no light bulb. Plus - the A/C worked well and kept us comfortable during the heat wave while we were there. There is a pool that would be attractive to families, but we did not use it. The mini fridge/freezer worked well. We didn't use the microwave. Minus - no housekeeping whatsoever. When the towels got saturated and the garbage cans overflowed, it was up to us to track down someone to swap them out. No vacuuming or linen changes at all. Overall - I would avoid if possible. It's over priced for the quality, but they can charge what they do because it's a small town with no chain options and not many alternatives.

The hotel is awesome and just a few hundred feet from the river. We visited in late December 2024 so we didn't get a chance to actually go down to the river, but there are other places to get to the river then from the hotel.
