This property accepted same day bookings but then declined to allow access for 72hrs or two business days. They originally said access would be allowed after 2 hours and took our damage deposit. After we paid the damage deposit they declined to let us in until after our check out day so they could confirm funds that were sent arrived in their bank account even though it was credit card through Expedia. Since we couldn’t use the property we requested a refund and they declined. We never stepped foot on the property and still haven’t gotten our damages deposit back ($1,650 USD). We had to book separate accommodations totaling a loss over 10K USD. Expedia was even worse in this situation as we went to them to resolve the issue and they said it’s not their issue and there’s nothing that can be done. I now have to put a claim in through my CC and hope for the best.
