Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is definitely a motel and not as comfortable and fancy as the branded hotels you might be used to. But for this location it was a perfectly clean and functional choice to stay overnight

Everything you need out in the middle of nowhere.

Good food and drinks, clean room and friendly service. A real gem out in the Nevada desert.

It is part of a gas station not a real motel

It was clean, and guiet. But no coffee no ice if you want something , you have to go the service station

8/10 Very good

Room is spacious and clean. No hangers for clothes, no microwave or coffee maker. Really friendly staff at the Arco at checkin. Comfy bed. Right on the freeway, so convenient. The notice telling us the price of each item in the room made it feel like they expected us to steal stuff.
Jill, 1-night trip

Basic room, a/c a bit loud, bed comfortable, sheet clean and fluffy towels. Perfect for one night

8/10 Very good

As older folks, we like the ambience of the old Motel scenario. Rooms were nice and spacious, simplicity and very clean with really nice quality bed. Hardly any noise from I-15, close by. Restaurant had really good Mexican food and extremely friendly, courteous waitress. Will definitely recommend to others. Gracias and mahalo, aloha

we ask for a handicapped room, when we arrived and they told us they just rented it out, we ask for a shower chair we were told they don't have anything to use.

Interesting stay..,,,

Only place to stay, bathroom light wouldn't stay on or was a strobe light show, luke warm shower. Good Pillow but bed was very uncomfortable; tossed and turned. It wasn't worth the price. Had to check in at the gas station, weird experience. Goat heads in the dirty parking lot that were tracked into the room.

My room never got cleaned. I hung the door sign outside for room services. My water ran out the last night I was there. I like the room tho but services coulda made the stay a lot more better. I’d stay there again tho I have high expectations for this motel.

Moapa Motel is a lovely throwback experience to the days of roadside motels of the '50's & '60's. It's the only choice for many miles around, off the main highway where one would turn off for the adventure of driving across the vast desert of Nevada. The establishment includes a gas station and a fine mexican restaurant and as such covers all the necessities of the modern day traveler. It's nothing fancy but does the job. Perhaps take care to learn the vagaries of the heating/cooling system as it could easily keep you awake.

No water

Hotel room was simple but clean and beds were comfortable. However, we woke up to no water. Reading other reviews this seems to be a common problem with this hotel. I asked about the water via text and got no response.
Tammy, 1-night trip

Did not have a microwave. A very small refrigerator. Had window air conditioner that turned off and on through the night breaking up your sleep.

The room is clean and the beds are very comfortable. I know the amenities are very very basic so there is no ice no coffee machine, no blow dryer. I do like the fact that my room had the toilet and shower in one room and the sink and closet in another. My room did come with a plug-in refrigerator but it was not plugged in but I didn’t need to use it on this trip. The beds are Tempur-pedic and very comfortable but if you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. It’s not that noisy but you are by the highway. this motel is unique, you do check in through the am-pm, but if you need a snack or a drink, they have it all which is very convenient

6/10 Good

Pros- It was very clean, and very comfortable soft bed, not too far from Valley of Fire Park. Cons- I've traveled in many countries solo and this was the first hotel I've ever experienced where you check into a gas station and there's no reception. Also, this hotel is probably fine for a short stay with a couple or group, yet I wouldn't recommend it for a solo female traveler, and I've backpacked in the woods solo. It felt very desolate, there was only one other vehicle parked there and this isn't the hotels issue, just a heads up to other solo travelers personally the vibe didn't feel good. Walking back from checking in next door some guys on the road in an old pickup truck whistled which I totally ignored. It just felt like the kinda place you wouldn't want to be seen going into your room from the outside. I basically just hid in my room, went to bed got up and out of there early next morning.
Ingrid, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Checked in to our DELUXE room, turned shower on to hot water, NOTHING, same with sink. Toilet wouldn't fill after flushing, had to use trash can to fill tank. Had reservations for 3 nights. The next morning while we were attending an event an hour away the manager called and said we had been given the wrong rooms and would need to come checkout, and check in again to a STANDARD room. I explained how far away we were and at an event, and would come as soon as the event was over. An hour later he called again. When we got back to the rooms, the door codes had been changed, they had PACKED OUR BELONGINGS STACKED THEM IN A CORNER AND MADE UP THE ROOM FOR THE NEXT GUEST!!! Similar water situation in second room. I rented 2 rooms for 3 nights each. NEVER AGAIN
