Unique hotel, room above was a little noisy (floor noise, old building) and shower water temp was a little challenging, but overall a very nice stay.

Great Boutique Hotel

Great hotel. Building is 1919 and renovated approx a year ago. Rooms are small studios (bath and shower separate from the sink which is in the studio) Hotel has a renovated factory warehouse feel--although this building was a social club. Exposed brick, hardwood floors etc. Really nice stay. Tons of free parking and cool restaurants all within walking.

Had a confirmed reservation with email and at check in they said they didn’t take reservations from third parties so there was not a room reserved

Literary sleepless at the Literary Hotel

We didn't appreciate hearing footsteps and hearing conversations from other rooms. Too noisy! We didn't shower while there. We didn't have time to wait for hot water They had no record of our booking when we checked in. Neither did the people in front of us.

They don’t take Expedia they say, and Expedia customer service is trying to contact them to confirm this. They won’t answer the phone to confirm and I am waiting on them to answer an email before I can get a refund. They said they have tried to get Expedia to remove them from their site…. But they should try harder!!! This is almost fraud otherwise.

This hotel is a hidden gem! We absolutely loved everything about it. It’s conveniently located within walking distance (we are talking 2-5 blocks) of basically everything in the heart of town. And, if you want to go further, you can easily get there by car. I didn’t get pictures of our room before the kids moved their things in for the night, but I tried to capture some of the other details. There is a secure parking lot for hotel guests 1/2 block away but also street parking nearby. A cute clothing boutique & gift shop in the lobby area also. Bonus - there are eco friendly touches - for example, the hallway lights turn off if there hasn’t been any motion for a period of time. I’m coming up with the list of reasons to stay at this place again - Date night, girls weekend, who knows what else!!
