This hotel is the best out of the lower end of my budget list. I type in hotel/private/bathroom/max £80 if I’m staying somewhere for work midweek. I don’t want anything fancy. Clean and tidy

It was amazing but i wish if the bed was a little bit softer its feels like im sleep on the floor. I had one issue it was the room next to me the guy was drunk and loud i couldn't sleep at all but he left the next day so i had a good night sleep the next day

the shower water just sat in the bottom of the shower, the room was way too small and a million stairs up(they luckily carried my luggage up for me) but it was paper thin walls

Hotel expectations

The staff are friendly, I stayed in a double room twin bed. However, the room was very small not what I excepted. Not enough space to put down your luggage. The 2 single beds where small and on wheels, they kept on moving around when you turn a side. The bathroom was tiny too you could swing a cat in there. Needs a bit upgrading. Glad it had tea and coffee facilities, and a small.

The room was on the 4th floor, which - especially if you have a suitcase - is going to be a proper cardio workout. Bathroom was tiny, with a cabinet so close to the toilet that you had to sit on it sideways. Partition wall to next room paper thin, and squeaking floorboards when next door guests walked around. Relatively cheap, but...not the best experience

Terrible hotel room I have ever had. No Blanket knowing that it was about 2 degree outside. There was only a very thin bed sheet… Heather did not work. The bed mattress was too hard and they were 2 small sized combined in 1 bed with a gap that doesn’t even help to sleep well. On the top of all these I smelled cigarette smoke coming to my room the whole night as the room was in ground level.

The water stopped working mid shower and when I complained to reception they were very unhelpful about the situation. I had to check out early to go home to have a proper shower with running water. I couldn’t wash my hands or the soap off my body for around 30mins which is frankly unacceptable.

The windowsill had mould atound it as did the shower, the decor was dirty eg walls and windowsill, ceiling had paint coming off it, there was dust around the headboard, the room was far to small for two people, subtitles on the television couldnt be turned off, the underneath sheet had stains on them, there was only one pillow in the room per bed, the stairs were too steep in places and didnt have hand rails for you to help you up with, we waited 10 mins or more, ringing the bell for receptionist to come, totally unacceptable accommodation. Worst place we have ever srayed in.

Not recommended!!

I stayed here for 2 nights and during my stay, no house-keeping services were provided for changing of sheets or room cleaning. Secondly, there was no kitchen/service area available for washing my baby’s bottles. Last, but not least, water started dripping down the ceiling through one of the spot lights on my second night of stay. I asked them to come and check it out before it caused any more trouble but nobody came and I kept waiting. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay here and do not recommend it to anyone especially families with children.

Cold and dirty

We stayed in November, so it was cold outside, and exactly the same in the room. There was a heater that didn’t work, there was a very light blanket instead of a duvet and verrrry thing pillows. I barely got any sleep I was so uncomfortable and cold. There was mold/first around the windows and the bathroom didn’t look fresh. In the morning after I had put water in the kettle, the tap and shower didn’t turn on. After a while we got a bit of a trickle, but as we were at the very top and there was no lift and just a tonne of of narrow stairs (was not good for my asthma), we dealt with it and then checked out as soon as we could. We were incredibly tired for our day in London after our stay. Honestly awful.

rapidly becoming my favourite place to stay in London. Look, its not the Ritz, but its nowhere near Ritz prices. This hotel is perfect for city breaks. I've never met staff as accommodating and helpful as the guys that work here. Its beyond clean. Extremely comfortable, in an amazing location and is leagues above the competition in the area. I've been travelling to London for the last 6 months and when they have availability, I stay here. I'm not just saying it but for the price you CANNOT beat this hotel. LONG LIVE GLENDALE

It's not clean, the room is very narrow, you can't move around at all. It doesn't have any services or necessities. It's also not safe as the door doesn't close securely.

Fantastic!!

It was great! We booked last minute, the same day, since our original hotel was catastrophic. The personnel was super kind and understanding, and provided us with all the help and recommendations that we would need. Everything was great! I really recommend this hotel! :)
