8/10 Very good

Quiet place, good place closed to the main highway. Bathroom need little care, but was spacious.

No trash can in the room, walls were dirty. Bathroom was gross. It was a place for us to stay as we were passing through. Wouldn’t stay again.

Air conditioning was VERY bad. Loud and never cooled!!!!!!

2/10 Poor

Wow. Maybe the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

Room smelled like mold and pot. Front desk claimed they could not switch rooms because they were sold out. Not enough cars in parking lot or observable evidence to support this claim. Sheets were dirty and smelled like vomit Probably has bed bugs so we are careful about quarantining our clothes

6/10 Good

The bed was clean

Remote entrance at far end of building was not secure. Bed fine but one bedside lamp was missing a shade and lightbulb (see photo). Desk chair missing a wheel. In room telephone not connected and phone unit was missing some parts. Bathtub and sink were pitted, stained. Breakfast bar had a sandwich, and the usual diabetic fare of waffles/bread/cereal/starch and yogurt. Coffee fair. Carpets and runners haven’t been shampooed in a while. Poorly maintained. Only one shampoo in bathroom. I wouldn’t walk barefoot in the room. The corporation touts saving the planet yet all breakfast service is disposable. Clerk had a list of eateries within 10 miles of the desolate hotel area.
Missing lamp shade and bulb on left

8/10 Very good

Rooms are updated, but the inside stairs, hallways need painting. doors not secure and looks broken. As far as value, overpriced and lacking quality breakfast bar.

8/10 Very good

The area was well lit and safe. The card readers on the side of the building did not work, so that was no fun, but otherwise the facility was clean. The breakfast offering was good and available all the time really. Room was spacious and there was a small cooktop, microwave, sink, and mini fridge. There was a walk in shower that was handicap accessible, so good for those with disabilities. The wi-fi is free but unsecure. The fitness center was pretty up to date and in good shape.

The room was ice cold when we arrived, they floors were dirty, stains on the blankets. A weird smell of weed and incense took over as soon as you was lied into the building. Would not recommend

8/10 Very good

The service was good, confirmed that I had two beds but they only had one double bed.. two machines did not work near me..

Was a pretty basic hotel, good spot if your going to a concert at the lake view spell amphitheater, crazy loud popping and creeping noises in my room 260 on the Suites side, woke us up a couple times through out the night, thought someone was trying to come in or something but I finally figured out it was the refrigerator or the socket behind it.

Checked in and was put into an already occupied room then our new room had so much hair caught around the drain plug that the water wouldnt drain very well.

Rough

Property is in process of much needed renovation. Low-end linens are pretty scratchy. Heater blows constantly, cold air on bed between heating cycles. Low expectations at this price-point, but hoped-for basic comfort not quite there.

Our room was taken by somebody else, didnt, find out till we opened the door, and people were in there.Switched us to another room with 2 double beds, was supposed to be a queen. Said they had no other rooms, and beds couldn't be put together. Will not be back.......good luck

This was the absolute worst property we have ever stayed at. There was mold and rust all over the bathroom sink and tub. The floor boards were literally coming up off of the floor. The lamps were broken and did not turn on. If we didnt get in so late from an all day event, we would have left and requested a refund. Never again.

Place was dirty and loud. I came in my room and the bed sheeds where dirty and had hair on them. I went to the front desk and got a new room. Once in the new room, still hair on the bed and floor was sticky. The bath was dirty and had a very bad smell. Ended up cleaning my teeth in the kitchen sink. The halway was also smelling bad. Overall would not recomend this hotel. Also $200 for a room like that is absolutley inappropiate.

2/10 Poor

Terrible experience and would never recommend or stay again. The hotel had a dirty stinky upon entering. The rooms were old, carpets were dirty, there were finger prints on the bed headboard, washrooms were aged with a terrible shower stand and WC, breakfast was minimal/not at all worth. I am a Choice Platinum Elite and am deeply disappointed with my stay and am going to have to seriously reconsider going with Choice Properties for future stays. My family was absolutely disgusted. Sorry but any apologies would only have to be a full refund of my 2 night hotel stay.

4/10 Fair

I usually don't add comments on Expedia or all other platforms like that. But I have to warn people that could be attracted to the prices offered by the Suburban that it's not worth the price at all. I had to change room cause I was afraid of bed bugs on the first room they offered me, the shower was one of the smallest one I ever seen in my life and the rest of the room wasn't helping my first gut feeling when I entered the motel. So ... to future clients, beware ... they are probably better places to stay in the Syracuse area than this one!

Go elsewhere

When I got to my room the temperature was 56 degrees. The room was sparsely furnished. There was a small television and only one lamp. I Had to unplug the lamp and move it between the desk and bed stand as needed. the ceiling light fixture in the bathroom was broken and had no bulb. Much of the grout on the tile floor and tub enclosure was missing or loose. there were pieces of loose grout in the tub. Metal fixtures in the bathroom were speckled with rust. The hot water was luke warm at best not nearly hot enough for a shower. The exercise room was dismantled and unuseable. How ever the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

I purchased this hotel for my aunt, expecting her to enjoy a comfortable stay, but it turned out to be nothing like advertised. Upon entering her room, she discovered pee stains all over the sheets and a used condom on the floor, prompting her to document the experience in a video. The hotel clearly disregarded its own guidelines, as there were no safety protocols or cleaning standards in place. When I attempted to request a refund, the front desk staff, particularly a person named Carlos, refused to connect me with a manager and made excuses about their unavailability. My aunt was initially told my her niece card wouldn't be charged, but when she returned to get a receipt, Carlos changed his story, leading us to believe I might incur extra charges for an unsafe environment that didn't match the booking description. I expect an intern my refund back to me as soon as possible before this becomes a lawsuit for false advertising and on environment safety.
