The bungalows are charming, the restaurant is good, but the draw is the entrance to Johnston Canyon Falls and Ink Pots Hike. Because you are on property, you have parking and can hike by 8am or after 5pm and see the sites without massive crowds, then have a hearty breakfast or dinner after at a reasonable priced restaurant. We did have a couple of issues with the Bungalow, and staff a bit defensive that we didn’t communicate it until the end, but I wasn’t asking for discount, just trying to let them know so they could fix before the next guest. Beds were a bit hard, no microwave, but an oven/stove and frig in our 2 bedroom unit. While we had wifi, so so and couldn’t screencast but that’s ok, not here for technology. For us, this was a great stop for one night, so we could hike upon check in and again the next morning. But I didn’t feel it had enough to do to stay longer.
