Booked last available king room which was billed as handicapped accessible. We didn’t need that accessibility, but it struck me that the bed was extremely low and would have been very difficult for an older person on a walker or in a wheelchair to get into or out of without help.
The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and street parking was easy.
The bathroom was large and had a bathtub…again, not sure how that is billed as accessible. Regardless, we reported to the front desk that the tub drained VERY slowly (4” of water above your ankles after a shower). They said they would send engineering to fix it, but it was never fixed.
Also, on Friday evening when we came back to the hotel, we requested a bucket of ice. The front desk clerk said it would be sent right up. It never arrived.
It would be nice if coffee was available for guests in the bar area in the morning, rather than having to purchase a single go cup of black coffee for $4 in the restaurant.
