We ended a Ciclismo Classico bike tour in Maratea and so enjoyed the relaxing surroundings at La Locanda delle Donne Monache. We tagged on 2 extra nights at the hotel…I could have remained there for an entire week!! The only “downgrade” is the firmness of the mattresses ( we stayed in 2 different rooms). I found the mattresses throughout our tour across southern Italy to be quite firm. No big deal, though, as we slept soundly and comfortably at La Locanda.

This is a very lovely hotel on a hill with scenic views of the ocean. The staff is friendly and helpful, the pool is very nice and the breakfast is good. They will also park your car for you. You can walk into town for dinner or shopping.

What a terrific hotel! Everyone was warm and welcoming and they upgraded us to a magnificent suite…so roomy, clean and quiet. Breakfast was lovely with continental offerings plus eggs done your way. Freshly baked croissants, buns, with breads available for toasting. We walked to everything and the place was magical at night.

Great spot. Beautiful view. Maratea Centro is a very cool little town above the beaches and port - just a 10 minute drive to many beaches. The service was excellent, sitting by the pool was great, and the hotel gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Also conveniently the path to walk up to the Redeemer Statue is just steps away and takes less than an hour.

Hotel vicino al centro località con un bella vista sul paesaggio intorno, antico convento è stato ben ristrutturato e manutenuto ovviamente con qualche piccolo inconveniente dovuto all'assenza di ascensori e alle scale da fare per ogni piccolo movimento. Bella la piscina . Colazione buona ma non eccellente perché priva delle tante specialità regionali per i salati e i dolci locali. Personale professionale e gentile.

Ett fantastiskt och unikt boende, med extremt hjälpsamma och vänlig personal. Smidigt med parkering via boendet. Frukosten var enkel men mycket välsmakande. Polområdet var mycket lugnt och behagligt när vi var där. Kan verkligen rekommendera det hotell!

Kiva hotelli vanhassa nunnaluostarissa. Huoneesta hieno näköala Maratean vanhaan kaupunkiin. Uima-allasalue oli viihtyisä. Hyvin tarkeni uida vielä syyskuun lopulla.

Très bel hotel pour les "sportifs"

Très bel hotel avec un service d'une qualité irréprochable. Pas pour tout le monde de très nombreuses marches et pas d'ascenseur notamment entre le parking et la réception.
