The bed was comfy. We didnt buy breakfest option. The room was clean except the ceiling. The TV only had 3 working channels. The kids were upset about that. The bathroom was nice. This hotel is very dirty and old. Everything is broken in the restroom, it is like no one cleaned it up for years. I had a horrible time staying in this hotel. The front desk and the manager are so arrogant. The room key cards kept deactivated and it has to be re-activated every day. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were friendly and helpful and seemed ready to act quick on our report of the loose handrail in the bathroom (though no idea how quickly it was actioned as we were checking out that morning). The room was clean and the air conditioning/heating worked. The hotel doesn't have the best noise proofing, so you will hear traffic, ferry horns, etc. even on the upper floors but we were able to sleep okay. The hotel is right in the Old City, so just a 20 min walk from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, and surrounded by great shops and eateries. The restaurants have lovely views, and breakfast buffet was nice, varied, and tasty.

Some people say a hotel is just a room to lay your head at night. Sometimes this is true but not with the Legacy Ottoman Hotel. The hotel - the staff were wonderful. Fro the moment I booked the room they went out of their way to ensure that my stay with them was perfect and trouble free. They arranged for a car to take me from the airport to the hotel and back again. And during my whole stay - the front desk, the security, the kitchen staff, the bar staff - they were all exceptional. And it’s the staff who make a hotel. The room was wonderful. Very well appointed and always well maintained in my absence. The breakfast was both well presented and plentiful. I was pleased with the hotels location too as this was my first time in Istanbul, I wanted to stay in the heart of the city. All in all this is a wonderful hotel and I would happily stay there again. And I will stay there again one day.

I been there last month and the location is very good. The breakfast was ok but not the 5* quality. Most of staff were friendly and helpful. The main entrance staff and the receptionists I think they should be more professional.i was travelled with kid and my kid opened one pack of chip and nut which was on the table in my room. And I been charged £25 for those. !!! They charge me around £80 on the arrival day as security money which I never told before. I got the money back anyway.

The staff who checked us in was very unhelpful, verging to being arrogant and argumentative when I was explaining my side that I have been trying to contact them to change my booking. The room was smelly, the bathroom was dirty, the air vent for the AC was dirty and blocked. The place is walkable to the spice market and lots of shopping nearby. The hotel itself need a lot of upgrading. The hallways were dark and carpets were old and worn out. Bed was not comfy and we had to share a queen sized comforter on a king sized bed!
