Convenient motel for airport Basic yet comfortable

Convenient motel located within 20min walk of the airport. Poor value for money, but more reasonable than staying in Biarritz. The room (and in particular the bathroom) and services are pretty basic, yet clean and comfortable. It was slightly better than I expected. It was nice to grab a quick breakfast, orange juice and coffee before my flight.

Rude staff, unpleasant manners, 2 reception staff ignored me 10 minutes and I was the only person there. Then they asked my reservation details and wouldn’t give me Wi-Fi until I had checked in . Not a smile, or any warm welcome, I had driven 8 hours that day… a good welcome sets the tone for your stay be it 5 star or 1 star… doesn’t matter

Room was really good for what I paid. Most of the staff understood my English which was really helpful as I only speak English and Spanish, and felt quite bad about not speaking the native language. Breakfast was very nice.

Advertised as 24/7 reception but after if you check in after 9pm you have to go use auto check in which wasn’t working. Problems covered by campomile next door. Allocated room by night porter 2nd floor, had heavy cases, no lift, no help. On reaching room going it hadn’t been cleaned. Eventually allocated another room which was okay but a/c not working. While process took over an hour to get checked in. Overall assessment is poor.

The hotel wasn’t anything special, and the door got stuck and we got locked out and had to have the receptionist open the door for us when our key card stopped working. It was cheaper than even some hostels though, and the bed was comfy, so it was so-so.

The property was far from being 'premier class': it is a very run down 'pre fab' building that suffers from mould, crumbling surfaces, broken window closures, bad smells and damaged fittings. We had to move rooms on 3 occasions due to mould, smell and door lock not working- with help of the staff we had to enter through window to retrieve our belongings! There was a lot of noise at night, people shouting and screaming and joy riding in nearby street. We genuinely feared for our safety on occasion given the flimsy security of the doors and windows. Truly worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The only good thing was the staff who did all they could to assist us.

Even if you are looking for just a place to crash while visiting Biarritz, this place is not worth it because you won’t sleep well, which will affect your enjoyment of an amazing town. The place is gross, we found hairs and mold in the bed and in the shower so they clearly hadn’t cleaned from previous guests or do regular maintenance, the rooms are tiny like you’re shoved in a storage unit, the bathroom is smaller than an airplane bathroom. The staff didn’t even want to give us enough towels for our number of guests… the beds were very uncomfortable. Their fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for a good 20 minutes waking up all the guests who went out into the parking lot until they turned it off. No explanation given. We gave it two stars because it has AC that runs well.

Wir haben das Zimmer aufgrund einer massiven Zugverspätung ganz kurzfristig erst gegen 23 Uhr für dieselbe Nacht gebucht. Der Selbst-Check-in mit Code hat trotzdem völlig problemlos funktioniert. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber sehr sauber und mit eigener Dusche und WC ausgestattet. Nach einem langen und anstrengenden Reisetag genau das, was wir gebraucht haben. Unkompliziert, zuverlässig und absolut empfehlenswert!

Pas de machine à café en fonctionnement, Un important mal de dos au réveil (pour l'ensemble des occupants de la chambre). Une caution de 80 euros alors qu'il n'y a strictement rien dans les chambres à voler ou dégrader ????. (Seul hôtel où nous avons eu une caution à régler sur notre périple voyage). Hôtel le plus cher de notre séjour, mais de loin, le moins confortable.

Receptionist not very kind, unable to speak other language than French (bit weird for a hotel receptionist) that firstly gave us the keys of a room already occupied. After complaining, of another room that was not cleaned. At third attempt, we got a normal room, but in the middle of the night, while sleeping, an stranger unlocked our door from the outside. Very noisy rooms, surrounded by a road, disco and airport. Very tiny rooms. It is king of a motel with very low quality. A/C worked fine
