It's location is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. It was clean and they had free breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The room was a little stuffy and there is no AC. It had a celing fan which didn't help much but we just opened the sliding door. We would stay again.

This place was simply GREAT. Beautiful throughout. Rooms spacious. Only knocks, 1) although breakfast was great (probably the best I've ever had for a "breakfast included"), it was the same every day of our 3 day stay -- still, I was extremely happy with it, and 2) no air conditioning -- but they provided room fans. I, for sure, will be booking there again on my next visit to Morro Bay.

The rooms are a good size for our family of 4. Parking is tight, the property is decently maintained, and close to Morro Rock. Breakfast is not exactly a buffet with many choices: A couple sandwiches and oatmeal that was out of food at 7:40 but the kind front desk person added more within 15 minutes. We paid extra for a balcony and there is only one room where this applies (we happed to get) where the balcony is solid concrete and too small to actually sit on.

Pro: The room was good sized and recently remodeled, the location is close to everything, and the staff was helpful, breakfast was included and wifi works well. Con: The toilet seat in the room was wobbly, some traffic noise from Main Street, breakfast selection was quite limited, the TV does not provide Youtube or let guests stream their own Netflix. The ceiling fan does not work.

I love the Masterpiece and have stayed here often. The heated spa pool is lovely. The staff is always great and super friendly. The breakfast included in the stay has changed (used to include the self serve waffle maker) but still a valuable inclusion in the cost of the stay. I will continue to book here when in the area!
