Love Hollywood beach

Love staying here it’s right on the beach and all the shops and has free breakfast every morning. The rooms are big and renovated plus they have kitchens and refrigerators for you to cook.

We had a wonderful stay at Del Mar and will most definitely be returning!! When looking for a place to stay I did a lot of research. We decided upon Del Mar. Such a great family vacation with friendly neighbors and staff. Couldn’t have asked for a better location either. I think Del Mar is the best place out of all of Hollywood beach hotels. Highly recommend. How could you not have a great time when the beach is just steps away.

The fact that the manager up and left me while checking in because her shift was over says it all. I was in desperate need of a last minute place to stay so quickly booked. Needless to stay we stayed for three hours and went to the Sheraton a few miles away.

Parking was horrible. The room is really old, water got all over ever the floor from the shower and when you step out of the shower it feels like you are going to fall through the floor. The only good thing was the AC, it was ice cold

The staff is mega rude; they make you pay more to get the basic necessities & accommodations; & even send you to rooms below what you’ve booked. Then threaten to not check you in; in order for you to lose your non-refundable reservation! It’s really Sad how they treat many guests!

Cute place! Girl that checked me in was nice. The xtra fees resort fee, parking & $100 deposit was a joke. I ne er even saw a pool.Was not one @ the property I was @. BF was bread cereal & boiled eggs.Which that was fine. I mean come on with the xtra resort fee! If it wasnt for that I would say it was fantastic. Great location & super cute room. Though there was a huge hole in our bathroom door. If you want kitchen items you have to ask for them & check them out. Something to remember when booking here.

The TV's nor the WiFi was working. I called to report and they sent the security guard who didn't even know what was going on. The walls and floors are very thin so you can hear everything from other rooms. Didn't get a good night's rest because of all the noise. The bed was comfortable.

Went to check in at the property to find out they cancelled our booking because they did not have a credit card on file. We were never asked to put one on file, Expedia still showed us as confirmed and told me everything should be fine. However, standing at check in at 2am with 3 tired children I had to rebook at the front desk for more than what I was paying through Expedia. Over the course of our stay I heard a few more people dealing with the same issue at check in. On top of that the rooms were not updated since the 1970s and overall very bare. Very scammy, would never recommend nor stay again.

The best breakfast setting and service

Great stay, the service was excellent and thè staff was very helpful and friendl. Also, the breakfast that they serve was great. The place was clean and Donna the host is the absolute best. She goes above and beyond her normal duties to make sure all the guests that comes for breakfast are serve and eat in a clean environment.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was not great. While the room itself looked okay at first, I quickly noticed a serious termite problem — they were literally everywhere, which made it really uncomfortable to stay in the room for long. Another major issue was the setup: check-in wasn’t even at the hotel I booked — it was at a completely different location owned by the same company. They apparently own 10+ hotels in the area, and everyone has to check in at one central place. The line was long, staff seemed overwhelmed, and it felt chaotic. To make things worse, breakfast was at yet another property — not even in the same building. I had to walk quite a bit just to get there, which was really inconvenient, especially in the morning. It felt like I was bouncing between hotels for everything except sleeping. In short, while the price might look appealing, the lack of organization, pest issue, and hassle of walking to different hotels for basic services really ruined the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they make some serious changes.

Not what I paid for at all.

There is several properties, all in different locations under one umbrella company. No ice, no coffee, not beachfront, pool and breakfast in different buildings, A RESORT FEE, which this is the furthest thing from a resort, ridiculous. All of the reasons I booked this place over others were not real. The room itself was super bare bones, cut pieces of qood instead of furniture. Upcharge for everything. This is not ok.

Terrible condition of the room. There is mold in many places, peeling paint, non-working plumbing. The shower head did not work, the safe did not work, the air conditioner did not cool. Overall, it was a terrible experience, I do not recommend it to anyone.
