Great room, great staff, bad card keys, bad food

Staff was awesome - friendly and helpful. There were issues with the card keys for the room. I was only there 2 nights, and had to have the card keys replaced 3 times, but staff were very responsive and acknowledged what was apparently an ongoing problem. They offered free breakfast from 6am-10am. First morning I went in at 9:45, but they had already shut it down and were mopping the floors. 2nd morning they had biscuits and gravy, but the biscuits tasted "off". Also I wanted cream in my coffee, but the first two little creamer cups were chunky, and no way was I going to drink that. There was already a cup of coffee sitting there with chunky cream that someone had left.

Not worth the $

The staff was friendly enough but not very helpful. When we got to our room our tv would not turn on, so I attempted to call the front desk from the room. The phone also was not working. When I went to the front desk, I was told they were doing renovations so I wouldn’t have those services. They didn’t even attempt to come up to the room to fix the issue. I paid $260+ for our room. The next day I talked to the manager, who was nice and friendly. He took my information and told me he would get ahold of me after he got me a refund of half the price. A week later I had to contact hotels.com to summit a complaint. It was definitely not worth the price tag!

The air conditioning was not on at all in the room. We had to turn it on and then leave for a few hours before we could come back and stand being there. The hallway was not air conditioned either. The breakfast was the same every day. Not anything to brag about. No Kleenex in the room. I was impressed by the pet friendly atmosphere. I have not received a receipt yet for the charges for the stay.
