A great calm place right on the lake

Great hotel, colorful with a nice decoration and a garden right on the lake. A great place to stop for a night ot two if you are on your way to/from Oslo and you want a peacful place. The room is cozy and simple, good value for what we paid. There is also a glamping option in the hotel which looked super nice. We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it. Really sorry we could not stay more than one night cause this was a true relaxation. Recommended!

Serene and peaceful time with good food.

It was a quiet time at the hotel And we were spoiled by the excellent service. The rooms are dated, and lack convenient outlets for charging phone. Bathroom has an awkward placement for the toilet paper holder. But plenty of space for your stuff and the outdoor grounds are lovely even in early spring.

Hotel was nice (albeit very hot with no ac and warm temps) but I had an awful experience with the evening cook (man said he was a student, so hopefully not a full time employee). He insulted me by asking me if I was pregnant, something you never ask a woman unless you are very sure. I cancelled our reservation for 6 people to avoid him, as he was obviously making an insult about my weight.

Slightly remote. Fifteen minutes drive to other restaurants. That is not too bad. Nice nature walks, but not much else to walk to besides glass stores. Reasonably the place was designed to capture the heat. In hot periods it needs to have a way to get the hot air out. So even when it is not particularly hot outside, it is inside. This needs a better solution than just propping doors open.

Compared to other hotels, hospitality was average ( cold coffee in the bar, not fresh) and room was olddated, with a toilet where you cannot sit without hitting both the showerwall and the toiletpaper holder. Flott hotell i nydelige omgivelser. Rommet vi hadde med hageutsikt var fint, men altfor varmt i sommervarmen. Sola stod rett på hele dagen og det var ingen air condition. God mat, anbefaler ala carte istedenfor pizzaen, den var langt under forventningen.

Stedet ligger i flotte omgivelser. Betjeningen var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Hotellet bar preg av en viss slitasje, f.eks. var vasken og toalettet rent, men hadde mangler. Vinduet på rommet hadde vært knust, men var midlertidig reparert. Middagsrettene smakte godt, men ventetiden var i lengste laget. Alt i alt var oppholdet bra.

Chouette expérience que le glamping avec des enfants. Très bon petit déjeuner. 2 chambres sont réservées aux "campeurs" pour les toilettes et les douches (hommes et femmes). Il serait plus intéressant d'avoir un local plus important vu le nombre de tentes. Expérience au restaurant de l'hôtel très bonne pour le souper.

Idyllisk plass rett ved Hadeland glassverk. Fantastisk å sitte i orangeriet å nyte et glass under fine Hadeland lamper som henger ned fra taket, og se ut på hagen og Randsfjorden. Hotellet er påbygget i ulike tidsperioder. Den gamle delen var herskapelig, resten var bygget på 80/90 tallet. Hotellet var fint holdt. Anbefaler å spise middag, vi hadde grillet laks den smakte nydelig. Bodde på hotellrom med utsikt over hagen. Trangt og lite rom, savnet nattbord eller en hylle over sengen til å legge ting. Fantastisk god seng. Helt greit bad. God frokost før vi tok turen til Hadeland glassverk.

Vi bokade Glamping för första gången via booking siten. Där stod "Eget badrum" och "Privat badrum" vilket visade sig vara två gemensamma hotellrum reserverade för glamping gäster. Ett för herrar och ett för damer. Man kunde låsa hela rummet vilket resulterade i att både toa och dusch var ockuperat med kö på morgonen. Vi fick inget bord utanför tältet som de andra hade men receptionen var väldigt serviceminded och bar ut ett bord från lobbyn, även om det var ett lågt vitt innebord. Vi hittade senare själva ett vanligt träbord utanför en service bod på området. Sängarna var dock väldigt bekväma och utsikten väldigt fin. Området är härligt med parken och sjön. Frukosten hade mycket att välja på och allt smakade bra. Dock fanns endast bryggkaffe vilket inte är i min smak.
