The hotel’s location is perfect for a vacation, offering some of the best views in Kobe. Nearby, there is the Umie shopping mall, which, though not very large, has a comprehensive range of products. After some shopping and dinner, we took a leisurely stroll along the coast to Meriken Park.
We had booked a run of the house and were assigned a moderate Double West View at check-in. The room was quite new and very clean—we did not encounter any of the cleanliness issues mentioned in some reviews. The room also featured a balcony, making it delightful to enjoy a drink while taking in the sea view. The soundproofing of the room door was exceptionally well done, with almost no noise when opening or closing it. The room was well-equipped, and additional drinking water could be requested from the front desk if needed.
The lobby was luxuriously decorated with plenty of sofas for relaxation. Near the entrance, there was a convenience store selling limited-edition merchandise themed around Kobe Port. It stayed open quite late, making it convenient to purchase souvenirs. The breakfast offered was abundant and even included substantial options like Wagyu beef burgers, all enjoyed with an expansive sea view. Although the dining area was crowded during the holidays, the staff managed the flow efficiently with a number-calling system, ensuring orderly service.
