Great location to downtown Newport. Clean. Easy access. Very Basic necessities- walk up stairs to2nd floor. Older bathroom. Hall needed new painting . Great staff- very accommodating as we needed an early check in! I forgot my toothbrush and paste and was given these at the front desk.

The hotel was in a good location,pretty close to downtown Newport. The room was average I would say but we found hair on one of the beds and like 3 pillows which was bad. I will say the staff was nice. I left my charger there on checkout and they called me to let me know which I really appreciated.

I would give this hotel 5 stars just because the gentleman at the front desk! He was wonderful. Downside was the bathroom. Extremely clean. However the drains were missing covers. It made the bathroom look seedy.

This is a budget-friendly hotel, so don’t expect luxury or a lot of amenities. It’s a good place to stay if you plan to spend most of your day sightseeing and enjoying Rhode Island. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The complimentary breakfast was decent—nothing exceptional, but enough to start the day. The hotel is also pet-friendly. The family we traveled with stayed in a pet-friendly room, and there was a noticeable pet odor in that room. If you’re sensitive to smells or prefer a room that hasn’t housed pets, it may be worth requesting a non-pet room when booking.
