Didn't really know what to expect as this hotel had been used to house migrants previously but what a lovely surprise!The hotel has been completely refurbished to a high standard and was well worthy of a 4star hotel.The staff were all pleasant and helpful and helpful helpful rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated.Breakfast was buffet which is always a bit hit and miss but the food was well cooked and reasonably hot.Although we didn't use the lounge and bar area it looked very comfortable.All in all we were very impressed with the hotel and thought it was excellent value for money.We shall certainly stay here again when we next come to Nottingham.Thanks to everyone concerned for a most enjoyable stay

The first room there were issues so were quickly moved Room service was expensive and the food poor with an additional charge to bring to room. Bar was over priced. Room was very cold and with no internal number to the reception we had to keep going downstairs for help on the matter. The toilet flushed infrequently due to it continuously running making the cistern not full. The breakfast was good for the price and the bed very comfortable. We would not stay at the Novotel again

Convenient as it's just off the motorway but it's very much a transit motel. I was put in the last room of the hotel, in the basement at the end of the corridor. It had the feel of being forgotten about. Staff at the restaurant were lovely though and dinner was great.

Enquired about early check-in on 4 different occasions, 3 by phone and one in person. Received a different procedure every time - such bad customer service. Had booked a twin room. Couldn’t check in until after the wedding I attended so it was nearly 1am in the morning. We checked in, got a key to a room with a very big double bed and what looked like a camp bed. Disgraceful. I had to ring reception, wait for him to come and take us to an actual twin bedded room.
