10/10 Exceptional

The staff at Hotel Ami were really lovely and I was impressed at how well kept the communal kitchens were. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit tired in terms of decor and fittings, but it’s excellent value overall and an easy 5 minute stroll into town.

We stayed here one night as a convenient spot for the excellent Arctic Circle tours northern lights tour. Great value for money and comfortable stay. Very quiet and beds small but comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. Room was spotlessly clean. Nice views from 2nd floor. I would stay again.

Staff and people are super nice in the hotel. It’s just that the hotel needs renovations.

We loved the room and the location. Lovely staff! The bathroom was a little old and dated however clean which is the main thing I guess! Would recommend for a night or two!

Another gem in Orbitz’s list of hotels. A good view of the Arctic Cathedral. It’s very walkable to the harbor. Excellent WiFi and free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the breakfast kitchen. 10/10

4/10 Fair

Inconvenient location, stairways and rooms are really cramped, toilet and bath is just really bad. Not a hotel.
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Good place to stay

Small, but good and comfortable hotel, only a few steps from the city center. The room was small but it had everything for 3 nights stay. There was no wardrobe in the room so it could be a but problematic for someone staying longer time because I had to put my clothes on the chair or a small table, there were no hangers. One small annoying thing was the fan in the bathroom which could not be turned off and was on all day and night long.

8/10 Very good

The refrigerator in the room 31 smelled of scrimp and there was "scrimpwater" in the button witch got on my cooling bag and several things. smells terrible :-( Otherwise good room and location. Will come back.
