The hotel itself is quite nice, the size of the rooms are what you pay for. There is a train track right next to the hotel, which can be noise when in your room, but it is not worth worrying about.

Loved the space and proximity to the soccer stadium. Trains were very noisy so ear plugs are advised. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family, comfortable beds and kitchen a bonus. my partner and I will use hotel hacienda from time to time as it’s the most convenient location to be for our visits to Sydney - it’s clean, the beds are soft and comfy, it’s convenient as hell with a short walk to Redfern station and it’s incredibly budget friendly. The prices on weekends are a bit of a rort but you literally will not find a place cheaper in Sydney over a weekend that is this close to everything. Staff are lovely and usually let us check in early if it’s a weekday or a Friday - we’ll be back many many many more times as the years rolls by.

All good, lovely obliging staff. First time we have struck accommodation that doesn't provide a kettle or tea and coffee and milk. We just had to ask the friendly staff for them, including cups, but is this the way motels are heading? Nice place though.

A great landing spot for a night. Room was teeny tiny but the bed was so comfortable. The hotel decor is so awesome and they have done a great job styling to make the space feel airy and larger than it is. The hotel is on a busy road and on a train line but that does make it convenient as it’s close to Redfern station and close to bars and cafes. Central is only a 10 min walk away, too. A bit of a shame the taco restaurant has closed as there were no options for a drink or snack in the lobby. You’re not going to want to stay here for a luxury staycation but as far as location, affordability and convenience goes, we’ll stay again.

When booking the hotel, it was clearly stated that there was available parking (nothing about having to reserve or pay extra) which is what other hotels normally state. We had to park a 20 minute walk away from the hotel due to limited space. Place was also dirty and needs a good scrub. Very very small for the amount of money too.
