No-Frills, Clean, Quiet Stay
As the title describes, our room was clean and quiet. Nothing out of the ordinary, just your usual room, but that’s all we needed for our one-night stay.
An “accessible” room, it provided grab bars at the tub entry and along the back wall, plus had a shower chair, but it was still a tub vs a step-in or roll-in shower. A hand-held shower head would have been better for someone who needed to sit to shower. (I’m an occupational therapist, so I analyze accessibility).
The breakfast was so-so: the usual (awful) Choice Hotels chain coffee with artificial creamers (I used the milk intended for the cereal), hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, cereal, and make-your-own waffles, juices). No fresh fruit, and those who like a pastry would have been disappointed.
The man at the front desk who checked us in and was there again the next morning was very pleasant.
