Overall the hotel was nice and clean. We did not eat at the restaurant as it had 2 star reviews on Google. There are plenty of restaurants in the area within 10 minutes. The pools were nice, the kids really enjoyed them. The rooms were decent size, the bathroom is a little snug but ok. My only disappointment were the beds, they were super soft. We literally sunk in and could hear the springs. It was so uncomfortable to sleep.

The only issue was the paint was chipping from the bathroom floor, the complimentary soap/conditioner/body wash dispensers were moldy inside the bottle dispenser, but the room was clean, the pools were very nice and the upside is its close to the amusement park.

So I came here on a makeup trip with my 4-year-old granddaughter. Our last foray was when the Canadian fires shut the park on Saturday, and rain made for a dismal Sunday, so we decided to defer and return. We arrived early Saturday for a one-night stay. Our check-in attendant was dear and really nice. Our room wasn't ready, but she said to call her at 2 PM to check. So we went to the park, and by the time we picked up our little one to leave, it was 6 PM, so we got to the room and changed for a Duke kids' event at 7. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We checked out Sunday at 11 and were allowed to keep our car parked at the hotel, saving us a $25 parking fee. The staff couldn't be nicer, and this is a much better choice for youngsters than the big parks in Hershey or Kennywood. We will be back next year with a 5-year-old, then, as well as our 3-year-old grandson, who really wears us out. We made some great friends and were really happy to see so many families with young children of many diversities. All were having a great time.

We were in town for a soccer tournament. We booked a room with a queen and two bunks, and packed a cot for our family of 5. The room was clean, functional and spacious enough for the 5 of us. The kids really enjoyed having their own TVs in their bunks. We also really enjoyed the pool in the afternoons, and adult time around the fire pit in the evening. The staff was super responsive (relighting the fire pit after it went out, helping us ask some late night revelers to turn down the music outside of our room). No complaints at all, we had a great stay!

The staff upon check-in as well as at Penley’s restaurant were so helpful and friendly. There wasn’t one staff that didn’t seem to enjoy their job. The outdoor pool had 2-3 life guards on staff at all times who took pool safety seriously. My only criticism was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Although nothing was overly dirty, in the shower the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers had build up and what looked like mold there.

The staff was great. The room was decent but could use more lighting. The wall are thin so we heard everything next door from 7am till 10pm. When someone used the steps is was loud in the room. Not to mention the person that knocked on the door and ran.
