Dan who checked us in was fabulous, it's always nice to be greeted in a friendly manner after a long journey. I asked for a room on the top floor (don't want to hear the elephants upstairs) and away from high traffic areas (we were given one at the end of the hallway) No connecting door - yay! 5 Stars for getting all that right - Thanks! The hotel was lovely, nice and inviting. Coffee and hot water in the reception area, clean and replenished regularly. The room was great, nice and clean and well presented, only a couple of things that I could see, whoever hung the door should take a lesson on "door hanging" you could see right into the hallway at the bottom, we put two pillows at the bottom to stop any noise. There was a stain on the white bedding, looks like a previous guest may have had their dirty feet up on the bed! No bedside clock. Fridge, great and quiet, no freezer compartment (sad times for the freezer packs). Lots of hooks on the wall in the bathroom - very useful. Outside was well lit and felt like a safe area. The breakfast looked good. I'm a celiac vegetarian who doesn't like eggs - lol I bring my own cereal and bread and a toaster bag to toast it in the regular toaster, (works for me) I noticed they had Lucky Charms which were GF they also had Yoghurt and fruit. Also, scrambled egg, sausage and potatoes. Waffle maker, porridge station etc The OJ tasted pretty good from the machine, choice of coffees and tea.Great hotel, would stay there again.
