This was a nice 1 night stay and so close to many of the restaurants and shops. It is a quaint motel and a nice change from the Name Brand Hotels. I'd stay here again if I make it back to the Blowing Rock area.

The location was great, within walking distance to everything. Staff at check in was friendly, explained everything, gave lots of useful information. Check in was fast and easy. The rooms are clean, and have a cute old charm to them, but everything was clean and in great condition. Parking was right at my door. I would stay at this location again, no questions asked, and would recommend it to anyone that asked where to stay in Blowing Rock.

Had to wait around for check-in as the desk clerk was out and left a note. Room and beds were comfortable and clean. Bath amenities were fine. We love the location of the motel as it is a walking distance to everything in blowing rock. You are able to back your car upright to rooms door, a huge plus for unloading and loading. We have stayed here for 20 years and the motel is now in need of some TLC on the outside reference paint, rockers, window cleaning etc… I’m sure they are planning to make these improvements, and we will certainly be returning.

This is an older motel. They keep it very clean. There are some small signs of wear in the bathroom.The biggest problem we had was the lack of a close outlet on one side of the bed. The area is safe and had many restaurants within walking. The staff at the front desk were very nice.As we're the cleaning staff.

The location is great, being within walking distance of center of Blowing Rock. Parking is convenient being right in front of room. Room was clean and consistent with prior stays over the years. Only thing that should be improved is better quality toilet paper. The single ply is not in keeping with the overall positive expeir.
