Learn more about Blowing Rock
Tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains, this village offers a perfect blend of small-town charm and outdoor adventure. Main Street invites exploration with its boutique shops and cozy cafes housed in historic buildings. The town's namesake, The Blowing Rock, creates an unusual upward wind phenomenon that locals claim can return thrown items. Moses H. Cone Memorial Park offers miles of carriage trails through stunning landscapes. Thrill-seekers can hit the slopes at Appalachian Ski Mountain or enjoy the vintage amusement park experience at Tweetsie Railroad. After hiking Price Lake's shoreline trail, browse the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum for a taste of mountain culture. For spectacular views, the Mile High Swinging Bridge at nearby Grandfather Mountain isn't for the faint-hearted.

Meadowbrook Inn
"We stayed in the two story building and the elevator wasn’t working. Also it had not been vacuumed for weeks the carpet looked old and reminded me of a college ski trip. Our cleaning lady barged into the room while we were taking a nap and not fully dressed. She said “they don’t tell me anything” seems like a managment slip. Great location, price, easy booking online."
Hillwinds Inn
"Clean and comfy room, parking was easy. Would stay there again!"
Azalea Garden Inn

The Embers Hotel
"We had a Premium Terrace Room (202) and we loved the extensive balcony/terrace...we could live out here! Great hotel..so convenient to exploring downtown Blowing Room & all it offers!"
Mountainaire Inn and Log Cabins
"The room was clean and interior appearance fits a mountain life decor full of wood panels. As a suggestion, the room could use some updates like new curtains and blinds. The room could use a small drink refrigerator and microwave. Location was excellent … near restaurants and shops."
Chetola Resort
"Clean room and great views!"
The Homestead Inn
"Beautiful property, great outdoor seating, very close to main st. Updated but small room, super comfy king bed, big step up to shower/tub. Air conditioner blows on bed all the time as there is no on/off cycling. Bathroom clean & has good counter space. Staff super helpful."
