was trying to stay in Charlotte but the prices were insane, i guess for the PGA thing - so i stayed here instead. easy to find location, easy parking, close to lots of food and shopping options. the front desk guy was nowhere to be found when i checked in, but eventually showed up was exceedingly slow in making me a key and doing some stuff on the computer. as for the room, it was super clean as expected though the tub and fridge looked somewhat dated, but the vanity was nice with the backlit mirror and consistent with something i would see at a Woodbridge or Country Inn. anyways, the place was sort of a semi mix of renovated and nice vs dated and very budget. i was fortunate my neighbors were mostly behaved since the front door and probably the walls were paper thin and you can hear anything and everything. Hotels.com said checkout was noon, but it appears check out was 11 am. and if there was coffee or something anywhere, i surely didn't find it. the fridge in my room kept making this knocking sound sometimes like it sounded like someone was at my door. and i also had a fruit fly flying around, which is odd since it was an enclosed area on the 2nd floor and no ability to open windows.
