It was a group trip with friends to celebrate a birthday! We were well within walking distance of everything. Noise levels from the street were minimal and we could not hear other guests. All the beds were comfy including the couch pull out (I can attest after 2 nights on it) the only thing I would have brought would be a mirror for the getting ready sessions as there was only the 2 bathrooms available for it.

We had a great stay at Basecamp Suites. The room was reasonably priced, especially for peak summer travel season near the national parks, and the location was excellent. It's right in the heart of Canmore, within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafés. The staff was friendly and very responsive whenever we requested additional items for our room. Street parking wasn't bad. We typically only had to pay for about two hours each day, and parking was free nearby from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. One thing we especially appreciated was how quiet the room was. That's not always easy to find in Canmore since many properties are close to the train tracks. I'd also recommend staying in Canmore instead of Banff if you're visiting the national park. It's less crowded, offers better value, and it's still an easy drive to all the main attractions.

Unit was well stocked and while it did feel small when we first got in, it fit 6 adults well for 2 nights. The dining table was perfect for cards, the kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub looked great (although we didn’t have a chance to use it). Great communication via text with the staff. The only downfall was one parking space and we had three cars. There is parking on the street but it is paid 8am-8pm.
