Location great as 3mins walk from station: Staff very friendly and helpful. hotel showing its age

The best aspect of this hotel is how close it is to the Lausanne train station. I don't think the hotel has maintained a 4-star level, but the reception desk personnel are extremely accommodating and helpful, and the Standard Double category room was spacious and comfortable. Although the mattress could be updated, and the hotel decor is a bit odd, overall, I prefer this hotel to others I've stayed in around Lausanne.

It was a very nice hotel. It has a charming feel very swiss. The front desk employees were nice and the hotel was close to the train station.

Property has a very good location. I was able to park in front of the property and there is a big train station close by that connects very easily to the main tourist places to go to. The staff was very kind very professional and very helpful. I truly recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms. The interior design was fantastic. Great location. Very easy access to the train station. Breakfast had great choices and the breakfast hall was so nicely decorated. The staff unfortunately were unable to give suggestions or directions even to old town, the metro station or the port. We were told to “ask anyone outside and they will tell you how to get there”. As long as you don’t count on the staff to help with anything touristy, it is a fantastic choice. We managed to get around without their help. It is also located at the bottom of the hill which makes it easy to walk to. The city is very hilly. Would definitely recommend.

The common areas of the hotel are dated and a bit stuffy. The room was wonderful; large with a nice sitting area, two windows providing fresh air, plenty of cabinet space and a large, recently renovated bathroom. Located right next to the train station made this hotel an excellent base to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The sauna is small and may not be worth the additional cost. We were very comfortable; I would definitely stay here again!

Conveniently located a short walk from the central train station and a metro station. Breakfast was good - lots of options. Comfortable beds. We had a nice view from our room. Do not count on room service in the evening. We were advised to order food using Uber Eats since it would take too long for us to get our food. Housekeeping left our window open a few times. All in all, we would stay here again.

The staff were wonderful and the hotel is very nice. Sadly the breakfast was not as it should be and leaves a lot to be desired. A wonderful lady was on her own and even with her excellent performance it was too much for one person!

Staff was exceptionally helpful. When we needed a walk-in shower rather than a tub, every effort was made to accommodate our needs. Very friendly & professional.
